We invite & welcome you to enjoy our private & fully self-contained unit which forms part of the front of our character home, yet has its own entry. We are on Doubleview hill, situated approximately 3 km from Scarborough Beach and within walking distance to Jackadder lake, shops, restaurants, Woodlands, Wembley Downs and Innaloo, & to the cinema complex. Hale School is one street away. A free parking space is provided in the driveway. The 410 bus to Scarborough & 412 to Stirling train station are nearby. This space is suitable and council approved for one or two adults only. The bed is a solid-based queen size bed with a comfortable deep latex mattress. The room rate is charged for the unit itself per night.

The unit, which has its own private entry, has a combined kitchen/living area with washing machine under bench, and a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and full ensuite with shower. There is a reverse-cycle airconditioner, as well as ceiling fans for your comfort. We provide tea and coffee for that welcome cuppa on your arrival. You can also enjoy sitting outside in the courtyard, particularly in the early mornings or evenings when you might also see the birds come down for water. Free WiFi is provided for ordinary use only (not unlimited download). Guests need to be able to use the facilities as provided. There is no ramp access, and the shower recess requires a step-over. Basic toiletries are supplied however if guests have allergies to certain products then they will need to provide their own.

Roger and Gaynor will be available to welcome you and provide directions or help when necessary, as we occupy the remainder of the house. You will be free, however, to enjoy the privacy of your unit. We hope you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with ample opportunity to explore the nearby beaches, the city and surrounds.
This suburb is called Doubleview as it has views of both the ocean and the city from the top of the hill. It is a relaxed neighbourhood, only a short drive into the city with all of its attractions, or down to the coastal drive and beautiful beaches. Enjoy the sunsets over the ocean from Brighton or Scarborough Beach. The nearby freeway or train access open up opportunities to explore further at your leisure. It is also central to several shopping centres at Karrinyup, Innaloo, Wembley Downs, Floreat and Leederville. Cottesloe and Fremantle are a 10 or 20 minute drive away down West Coat Highway. An extensive system of cycleways exists in Perth and down the coast for those interested in exploring by bike. For those who enjoy walking, there are the coastal and Swan River walks, bush walking and wildflower viewing (in season) through nearby parks and lakes, and beautiful King's Park overlooking the city. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, and we would be happy to help you with directions or recommendations if required.
