À propos de ce logement
This is a comfortable cabin in the Wenatchee forest resting between the banks of the Yakima River and two small ponds.
Come fish in the river or swim in the pond. Enjoy lazy days of watching the hummingbirds and nights around the campfire. Lots of activities available nearby: hiking, hunting, ATV trails, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
Great location for a summer or winter family getaway! Beautiful location any time of year.
Sister-property to Cabin Creek Lodge.
There are three buildings included in this rental-- the main cabin, the bunkhouse and the shower house.:
*The main cabin has one large room with living room, full kitchen and dining room. The living room has a queen sofa bed. There is also a master bedroom with a king-size bed and lots of closet space and washer/dryer. The small bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is one bathroom with shower connected by doors to both the master bedroom and kitchen area.
The main cabin has DISH TV (in both living room and master bedroom) and PS4 for your entertainment. The kitchen includes pots, utensils/glasses/plates/cups (for 8), gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle.
*The bunkhouse has one bunk-bed with twin size mattress on top and full size mattress below. The bunkhouse has a TV/DVD combo to use for watching DVD's (no regular TV signal or DISH here).
*The shower house has a bathroom with shower as well as additional refrigerator and laundry machines.
Although pets are not allowed inside the house, we have a large outdoor kennel and dog run. See the pics.
There is a deck surrounding the entire cabin and a "warming hut" with a wood fireplace behind the cabin. The pond beside the cabin can be used for swimming and has a dock with an inflatable raft. (All to be used at your own risk.)
There are a few fire-pits and picnic tables around the property.
(NOTE-- much of the outdoor areas are NOT accessible during the winter season due to snow.)

I or my maintenance engineer will be on site at least on the day of arrival and departure to give a simple tour and handle any questions or requests.
The road leading into the cabin is a dirt & gravel road and can be bumpy at times, snow-packed in winter (have AWD or good traction tires) and very dusty during summer. Speeds should be kept to 25 mph or less.
-NO SMOKING inside the cabin, bunkhouse or shower house ever.
-WiFi is thru satellite internet, which is notoriously slow & data usage very limited. (Once limit is reached, nothing more will be added). Only useful for email and simple browsing-- no video streaming at all.
-The Yakima River runs right beside the property. Please use great caution as this river has very strong currents and many log jams in this area. It is NOT advisable to ever enter this river- not for swimming, tubing nor boating.
-Any flotation devices on site are for use ONLY on our ponds.
-We provide towels and face cloths, but PLEASE use them only on your body-- not shoes, luggage, floors, cars, etc. (I know it sounds ridiculous to have to say this, but I have to throw out towels every single week. Go figure.)
-No pets allowed indoors.
-Eating in the bedrooms is very discouraged because of the difficulty to move beds and clean behind or under.
-There are trash cans in each building, so please use appropriately. Please pour out liquids in the sink before throwing cups, cans or bottles into the trash.
--We are in a National Forest so think in terms of "leave no trace"- both inside as well as outside. Leave the Cabin as clean as you found it.
-Please pack out with you whatever you pack in (especially in the kitchen, no leftovers please).
-Leave no trash lying around in any of the rooms.
-After cleanup, please leave all trash bags and empty boxes in the trash bins in the wood shed behind the house. **NEVER leave trash bags or bins outside as they will quickly be torn apart by animals.**
-Any furniture or items that were moved or used should be put back in their original place.
-Any bed that was used, please strip off the sheets & pillow-cases and leave them on the bedroom floor (blankets should stay on the beds). **Do not remove the zippered mattress cover.**
-All used towels should be left on the floor in front of the shower.
