The rooms are furnished with tatami mats and futons for guests to sleep on (Max. 8 futons). Each room also has a gas heater and a kotetsu table, as well as a small wardrobe with hangers. Depending on the room, you will also have a great view of snow covered roof tops and the Hokusai Five Mountains.
Amenities include mini kitchen, coin washing machine, vending machine, and onsen (an indoor/outdoor public bath open from 4pm to 9am)
The building and rooms are furnished in traditional Japanese style. We have tatami mat floors, sliding paper doors, and each room has its own kotetsu and snowy view from large windows. Our baths are open all throughout the night and we have one of the very few onsens that allows tattoos in both indoor and outdoor baths.

Our natural onsen is open from 4pm to 9am and is highly recommended as a relaxing, cultural experience. Both indoor and outdoor baths are open throughout the night.
We also have a mini kitchen open 24/7 on the second floor and a smoking area on the fourth floor.

Most of our staff speaks English and would be happy to give suggestions and offer assistance. Depending on the season, we've also had staff fluent in French, Russian, Spanish, as well as other languages. We can be found competing at ping pong downstairs in the common area pretty often, so feel free to challenge us to a match if you dare! Bringing board games, card games, or any other types of games with you is encouraged! We would love to learn about where you are from.
