This attractive family home with original Victorian features, is wonderfully located in the leafy neighbourhood of Putney, just minutes from the River Thames.

On the ground floor of the house is a contemporary living room, stylishly decorated making use of colour and light. The modern furnishings include a large L-shape sofa set against a patterned feature wall (Vivienne Westwood design) and a modern chaise longue facing a Television-surmounted feature fireplace. Towards the opposite end of the room is a very high quality dining table (extendable to seat 8) for the more formal occasions, and another stunning feature fireplace.

The main corridor then leads to the back of the house, to a very light eat-in country-style kitchen with its access to the garden. It is well-sized and well-equipped with every facility you may need including a coffee machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, kenwood blender and mixer, microwave and a nutribullet. The pretty outdoor area offers guests an elegant al fresco dining space with an elegant 8-seater table and a barbecue which is wonderful for those hot summer evenings.

On the first floor of the house are two bedrooms, and the modern family bathroom which is fully fitted with a bath and overhead shower fixture. There is also a convenient WC on the ground floor.

Across the hall is a pretty children’s bedroom with a single trundle bed (a single bed with another single tucked underneath). We can provide a double air-bed in place of the trundle bed, if this is preferred.

The street-facing master bedroom is minimalist yet chic with a wood-frame king sized bed, matching side tables and mirrored wardrobes. It also has a flat-screen TV as well as a dressing table with a three-sided mirror.

There is a stylish guest bedroom on the second floor, with a modern shower room next to it. The bedroom has a European-style bamboo feature wall, framed George Holz photography adorning the walls and a king-sized bed.

Up a few short steps is the final bedroom which has the comfort of an en suite shower room with pretty tiling around its bathtub and basin. The bedroom is very light and airy, with several windows on either side of the room. It is furnished with a double-sized bed as well as some gym equipment.

Putney is often considered the most pleasant of London’s suburbs, where Londoner’s would come to for the fresh, clean air and open spaces. One can enjoy walks along the River Thames which is just minutes from this property, and stop for lunch in one of several riverside pubs. Within 10-12 minutes walk one can reach Putney High Street which is bustling with plentiful restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and a shopping centre.

In just 20 minutes you can reach a short leafy, leisurely walk to Barnes along the towpath of the River Thames. Barnes boasts a well established fine food farmers market, the London Wetland Centre along with many boutique and fine dining options such as the Olympic Cinema which was once a recording studio for many famous acts.

Just over the river in upmarket Fulham, is the hugely popular Bishops Park which sits riverside and offers a brilliant children’s playground, an excellent café and scenic walks along the bank of the river.

Catch the number 22 bus for Putney Bridge station (15 minutes by foot) for the District line going through Kensington to Westminster and the Embankment. Simply switch trains at Victoria to reach the West End for Oxford Street,Soho, Marylebone and Tottenham Court Road! The Overground is 15 minutes walk, and reaches Waterloo in 15 minutes - great for the Southbank, Royal Festival Hall, London Aquarium, London Eye etc.

"We have a variety of temporary beds which can be provided to suit your needs; we can replace the single bed with a double air bed.\
For a family with a child/children, there are toys, stargates and a highchair which can be left out on request."

The lead guest will be required to sign an Occupation Agreement prior to arrival. Please note that the lead guest must be over 25 years old.

Normal check in time is between 3pm and 9pm. All other times may incur an additional fee.
