We look on this house as our home from home and hence is fully equipped. You will find the house stocked with games, books, videos in English, and children’s toys. The English/French speaking caretaker who lives in the village can help you with questions about the area, activities, and the house. The house has a quiet sheltered garden over looking the river - excellent for al fresco dining! The garden is fully enclosed with a gate and fence. There is parking for up to 2 cars in the garden. The front gate opens into the village port which is the berth for visiting sailing boats. Despite the house's central location it is quiet and peaceful, yet within easy walking distance to shops and multiple resteraunts. The port not only provides an excellent crabbing location, but also an interesting swimming area when the tide is up!. The numerous river channels around the village make delightful fishing spots and attract a wealth of bird life, as well as provide interesting kayaking (available for rent in the port).
