Overlooking the popular Strand and Magnetic Island! This apartment is not the newest kid on the block but is well appointed and full of North Queensland charm with a cool, funky beach vibe. The location and view makes this a perfect holiday spot!

This apartment is one of three situated in an old Queenslander house. This apartment takes up the right hand half of the top floor.

The apartment has two bedrooms with queen size beds and is perfectly suited for two couples.

The living space is at the front of the house and overlooks The Strand and Magnetic Island.

There is a small outdoor area at the side of the house with a table which seats 4, also overlooking The Strand and Magnetic Island.

The two top floor apartments share a laundry with a washer and dryer. The laundry is situated at the back of the house in a separate shed. Laundry powder is complimentary.

In the apartment you will find our local food guide and magazine, which offer a range of dinning experiences and places to go. I am also more than happy to offer any advice on where to dine and what to see during your stay, just give me a call.

The apartment is perfectly located in walking distance to The Strand (beach, rock pool, waterpark, restaurants, bars), Flinders St (for shopping, bars and nightlife) and Palmer St (for restaurants).

A lot of attractions are in walking distance from the apartment; such as the Perc Tucker Art Gallery, the Sunday Markets in flinders Street, the Reef HQ Museum and the Museum of Tropical North Queensland. You can also take a scenic waterside walk through Anzac Park, to the ferry terminal (approx. 15 min walk) and take a day trip to the beautiful Magnetic Island.

PARKING:
Parking can be limited. If you are travelling with a car please let us know in advance so arrangement can be made for a parking space in the driveway. NOTE: spaces are subject to availability and so cannot be guaranteed, however there is a public car park directly beside the house.

YOUNG CHILDREN:
Young children must be supervised at all times as the perimeter of the building is not securely fenced and the property is on a main road. Also the traditional old Queenslander balustrading around the outdoor area is very low and easy to climb and has a 2-3m drop.

We want you to feel at home during your stay, and ask that you treat our property with the same respect you would treat your own.

As this is a house containing three apartments, we have a strict no-party policy, and ask that you keep noise down to a minimum after 10pm.

We ask that you please not smoke inside the house, feel free to smoke on our outdoor areas, but please dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully.

Infants and children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times as balcony railings are low and easy to climb, and access to a busy road is not secure. Please take these things into consideration before booking if you have young children.

Due to the fact that the property is not securely fenced, we generally have a no-pets policy. However, if you feel this is not a problem in your case, pets may be considered.

We ask that you please leave the property in a similar state as it was in upon your arrival. Please wash any used dishes and place any rubbish in the council bins in the driveway. Please ensure the property is correctly secured before your departure.

The no. 1 rule is that you enjoy your stay ☺
