Motor Yacht Mainship , 42feet, 1996 (Refitted 2017)
Cabins 2, Bathrooms 1, Double beds 1, Single beds 2, Dinette Sleeps 2,
Accommodates: 6, Max Capacity: 8
The Mainship 42 Sedan Bridge is a family boat whose spacious interior and large flybridge makes her an excellent choice for day cruising, over-nighting and entertaining. She is built on a solid fiberglass, modified-V hull with a 13'6" beam, and her low-profile appearance is the result of locating the engines under the cockpit sole.
The single-level interior of the 42 Sedan Bridge--a step down from the cockpit level--is arranged with two staterooms forward and a spacious, full-beam salon with lounge seating for eight. A big U-shaped galley is forward in the salon, and a walkaround double berth is found in the master stateroom. Vac-u-flush head with shower is good size for this size vessel.
This is an expansive floorplan for a 42-footer, it seems much larger than she measures.
The cockpit has built-in bench seating, a transom door which leads out to a large swim platform. Aft facing transom seats with cushions make for a perfect afternoon on the water.
Topside, the 8 person flybridge has an island helm console with wraparound lounge seating. The foredeck is reached via a door in the forward flybridge coaming. On the foredeck are large bench seats for lounging.
