This place was in a perfect location for our trip and was very clean and nicely made with a great kitchen and large bathroom.

Great place to stay when you're in Seattle and want to visit Ballard or Fremont. The apartment is very clean, has comfortable beds, and two bedrooms with doors. Walking distance away from great coffee (Woodland Coffee behind the Safeway on 54th is AWESOME), terrific restaurants and terrific shopping. Parking is easy - there is a lot of space down the street by the park. We'd come back!

Location was great and very accessible for the Ballard neighborhood. The only minor issue is that you can definitely here everything from the upstairs tenant. Phone calls, walking, showers and a rather noisy cat. Wasn't alot but enough at to.wa that it was noticeable. Otherwise a great stay

We stayed at Beth's place for a month as a temporary housing. This place is nicely remodeled and well maintained with almost all the essentials you need daily. The location is perfect as the bus to downtown is only 2 min walk away and another bus going to the UW area and the zoo is around the corner too. It's also walking distance to Safeway and QFC so you don't really need a car. Beth is very responsive and flexible on the checkin and checkout times, which helped us a lot. Two things to note: 1. There is no microwave which is kinda inconvenient especially for those who are staying longer term and need to heat up food. 2. This is a basement apt so you have people living upstairs. I am a light sleeper and was waken up by the noise upstairs almost every morning at around 5:30- 6am. It sounded like a dog/cat running around chasing a ball with a bell.

Loved the location! Within an easy mile walk is almost everything you could want in Ballard! We went to a Mariners game and the uber ride was only $13. The apartment was nice and clean and check in was a breeze.

I only texted with Beth, but there was no need to do any more. She responded to my texts quickly.

OH, wow. Where to begin. I can't say enough nice things about Beth and her apartment. My family spent 6 weeks there and it most certainly felt like home. Beth has thoughtfully stocked the apartment with everything you could need. Just bring your toothbrush. The area is quiet and safe, and finding a place for our rental car around the playground on 9th was no problem. The neighbors are friendly several times popped around to say "hi", and my children even made friends with the regulars at the park. Anything you could want is within walking distance. That is no exaggeration. And if what you want is further than that, there are two buses (28X on the corner of 8th & Market, and the D-line on Market and 15th) that take you right into downtown. There are no fewer than 5 fabulous grocery stores you can walk to easily: Fred Meyer (which is the original Supercenter with clothing, outdoor and garden center TWO coffee shops and general mdse), Safeway, Ballard Market (gourmet and healthy), QFC (HUGE wine selection), and Trader Joe's. You can successfully avoid the big locally-based chain coffee place every morning for two weeks and still have a great cup of coffee each day. Again, just walk. There are three fitness centers that all offer temporary memberships. Any cuisine you desire is here, from the Zagat-rated to fast food. If you need a mani-pedi, just walk up Market Street. You'll find a place with an empty chair. Super Cuts can fit you in if you find your hair grew three inches overnight. Kindle crapped-out? There's a local book store here. Like a good Bargain? Goodwill is on 8th and 65th. No matter if you are a family or a group of adults, this apartment will suit your needs. There are two bedrooms, but only one has a window. (We found the windowless one most conducive to curing jetlag!) When you do laundry, keep the loads small. And don't be afraid to sleep with the windows open-they are very secure and open just enough to let in fresh air and nothing else. Couple things you might not be prepared for if you are not from the PNW- 1) they sort the trash here into recycle, food and yard, and general garbage. You will see three receptacles everywhere you go. Go slow and you'll be fine. And 2) The homeless. Rapid growth in Seattle has displaced scores of residents. DO not be afraid of them. I was at first, but I got to know some of them, and they are just people who are having a hard time right now. In Ballard, they won't come up to you. (The ones downtown can be aggressive, just like in any big city) The area is a "live and let live" kind of place. Local municipalities are doing everything they can to help those who have fallen through the tech cracks. But don't feel bad if you avert your eyes and keep walking.
