We were looking forward to a quiet weekend. My first booking using this app, we chose this place as it had a pool and the place looked serene in the photos. It said they're a farm. Imagine the horror when we arrived at 11 PM and we heard the excruciating noise from a videoke machine. I immediately asked the caretaker what time the singing would stop and I was told it should end by 1130. It ended at 1 AM. The next 2 days the "resort" squeezed in over 100 guests in the small property. Seriously. Don't think about hiding in your room because the bamboo house is literally that so sound from the outside goes in. If you think you can get away from it, visit the nearby towns and just come back at night, take heed because they have day time and night time rates, which means a new batch of people ready to party coming in twice a day. I already expressed my concern with the Mrs, as politely as we could be. I didn't meet Jovencio, but I think my other girlfriends did. We didn't even raise our voices or scream at anyone despite our frustration. As I have told her, the listing should be clearer - that we might have to share the resort with 100 other people and that videoke is available and allowed to anyone that wants to use that monstrosity. We misunderstood the description of the property. Worse was when I asked the occupancy of the place before we booked, i didn't get a reply. The only time Jovencio would reply is when it was about the actual booking or the cost of breakfast. I guess we just trusted the photos too much and it didn't cross our minds how overpopulated this place would be. Being busy career women, we forgot to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) the place, which we usually do, and post-trip we found several negative reviews about this place. We've never stayed in a place that allowed so much people, this is the only reason we can think of why we were negligent of the possibility of it being overcrowded. There should've been no smoking by our quarters, but people were smoking freely at the cabanas near our rooms and the smoke went to our rooms. The rooms are right near the national road. We could hear the vehicles (mostly jeepneys, because they have a distinct sound) all through the day and night. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. We also had to ask oblivious overnight campers (yes they allow you to pitch a tent at a fraction of the cost) at 630 am if they could lower their voices because we wanted to sleep in. For our discomfort, we didn't get any offer of a discount or even complimentary breakfast. In summary - Property: we liked it. The pool was wonderful, with a jacuzzi too. It was well-maintained and clean. While the bahay kubo was traditional, the bathroom was...

We definitely have noted these comments and we would take heed of these comments for future guests. We were not able to reply to some of the queries as we had experienced internet slowdown during that time. The videoke is supposed to be off by 10pm as per our policy in the resort but our staff were not able to control the guests on that respect. We are at fault here indeed. We would strive to improve on this seriously.

The place is an up and coming resort. Arrangements with the owner was flawless so I was expecting a good weekend. Check-in was quick and the staff quite friendly. Facilities are new and well maintained so that's a plus. We had dinner and breakfast prepared for us and they served the food on time and were fairly tasty. Unfortunately, the resort is also open to day trippers who outnumbered us (we were the only ones going on overnight) 7 to 1. I wanted some personal quiet time but obviously that became aspirational. One group even brought in a karaoke machine - and I will stop there. The place holds a lot of promise to differentiate amongst other resorts in the area. It can be more upscale if it wanted to but at this point, I'd venture that it's just another resort in the Liliw area.

This one of the best Airbnb experience we have had thus far! Bong and his wife are super great hosts - very hospitable and accommodating. The place is very new and they are continuously working on improving the amenities. The bamboo house is very charming with the modern amenities for utmost comfort - aircon, cable TV and most of all, ultra clean toilet and hot shower! With two queen-sized beds, our family of 5 comfortably fit :) Their food (local delicacies of Liliw) is to die for so make sure you order dinner and breakfast which will be served by the pool! Not to mention that it's very affordable. Love their outdoor jacuzzi too. Not to miss is the pretty waterfalls within the property. Yes, they have their own natural waterfalls!!! Great for families and much needed rest and relaxation. Highly recommended! =) NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: Lake Pandin in San Pablo (great for lunch with lake tour fo P360/each), Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery, Nagcarlan old Church, Liliw Tsinelas market, Villa Escudero, Kusina Salud and Casa Pablo. Check out Viaje del Sol for more itineraries.
