The apartment is a total of 115 m2, in old working class neighborhood of Copenhagen (building from app. 1900). It has 2 separate bedrooms, both with king size beds and a extra mattress to put on the floor. There is a large livingroom with sofa, dinner table and a television, a small bathroom with shower, and a kitchen with dining place for 5 persons.
THE BACK YARD
The building has a wonderful back yard, where you can enjoy the afternoon in the sun, have a drink when you return from sightseeing. There are playing facilities for children and a BBQ.
The apartment is situated in a laid back area with multi ethnical shops, and it is known for its bohemian charm and little restaurants, cafees and winebars. The street is called Hans Tavsens Gade and the appartment is facing a church with all it's charm.
In the area you find little shops such as bakeries, green grocers and also local supermarkets.
1 minute away there is a lovely cemetary, here you find the tombs of Hans Christian Andersen (writer of fairytales), Niels Bohr (invented the nuclear bomb) and Soren Kierkegaard (the philosopher). You can enjoy strolling the cemetary as well as you can go for picnics. Also you can stroll along the very idyllic lakes, which you find only 300 meters from the apartment. There are cafes a long the banks of the lakes and you can feed the ducks and swans or have your jogging trip.
Basically all “must sees” in Copenhagen are within short walking distance: shopping zone, the Queens Castle, Nyhavn and a lot of museums. The little mermaid is 30 minutes walk along the lovely harbor.
All the main bus lines are just around the corner. In 6-8 minutes walk, you find the subway taking you to the airport. The apartment is situated close to Nørreport. The Central Station is 15 minutes away.
