The day before departure we were notified that our fully paid booking was canceled. But Adriatic had obtaining another apartment, which they said was better than the one we had ordered. Just hours before departure, we had to accept this, since it was too late to find something for ourself. The apartment we got was priced lower, and if we had booked this in the first place, there had been about 200 euros cheaper. Adriatic refused to pay anything back. We got transfer to the airport, which had cost about 10-12 euros by taxi as compensation. They forgot us when we were traveling home. The host did not come to retrieved key as agreed, but we had to deliver them in a cafe. The cab did not came as agreed - it was ordered at first when I called for it. We arrived at the airport half an hour later than planned.
The apartment we stayed in was clean and in order, but one room smaller than we thought we would get. It was in the second floor of the restaurant Bruchetta, which made it difficult to sleep (in the old city center). This ruined our whole trip.
We have been in Zadar several times before, and choice of location was carefully planned. We were not there on holiday, but to conduct a training program. Lack of sleep and almost no possible restitution, made it impossible.
