Pick two; proximity, cost, luxury. I picked proximity and lowest cost, and I got it. . Easy enough to find and get code for keys, good proximity to what we needed it for. That said, it's a little rougher than expected, but then again the pictures were really only worth a few words. The remodel is definitely a DIY. I've been in amazing DIYs and this is not one of them, but it works for what it is Needs updated and clear pictures. Show the kitchen. I'm a carpenter type guy that remodels his own houses, so I notice everything. I don't have a clue about Texas building codes, but if I have ever stayed in a place that might burn down, this is it. The stove was powered by extension cord running under the sink cabinet(which you shouldn't open unless you've gotten your tetanus shot recently). The only other plug for all the kitchen appliances was behind the mobile microwave cart.
On to the bathroom. There was one shelf, falling off the wall, but a linen closet on the other. The shower was rigged to come directly out of the ceiling(actually nice unless you want to move the shower head) but the tub DID NOT DRAIN AT ALL! This is a problem, and it should be fixed immediately. If you are staying by yourself, it might not be a problem unless you're hot and want two showers a day, it may not drain for several hours.
The WIFI was weak, I didn't use it it was slower than my phone.
There was a TV, but no cable or antenna, (or any other media player) so why have a TV?
No ottoman, or coffee table, (one of these was pictured) or side table to go with the couch.
Overall, it was cheap, the location was good for us with a car and for the things we needed to do, otherwise it was not good. There are better maintained houses that might be more expensive, and have a walkable location. Not entirely sure how there was a four star rating? Maybe older reviews?
