After our original place was cancelled less than 24 hours before checking in, we booked Junyan's place. It was the highest season in Cannes and there was a few places left to book - so we were desperate!
At this time of year bookings are very expensive, so we paid a little over 1250euro for 7 nights - which was REALLY expensive for what you got.
We were expecting a lot more for this price, but were disappointed. The pool is actually not the apartment building's pool, it is the pool of the large hotel next door (the Novotel), so the pool gets extremely busy with the hotel's residents and also we were not allowed to use the sun loungers because they were exclusively for hotel guests. So we had to sit on the grass outside of the pool area.
The parking is the same, it's not in the building but next door in the Novotel car park, so every time you park you need to walk around 5 - 10 mins to get back to the apartment.
It's really weird, but there is no house manual in the home? So there was no information about the amenities in the property, how to access them, etc, no info about the area or anything at all - I would suggest Junyan that you please make a manual for guests.
The house was tidy, but because it was such a last minute booking the cleaner had not come before we arrived - but that's fine, it was clean enough.
The location was good, it was around 15 mins away from the main strip in Cannes and was around 10 mins from a large supermarket.
I feel like we paid way too much for what we got, but we were desperate because the original place we booked the person cancelled less than 24 hours right in the highest season in Cannes (can you imagine?!).
