The cottage sleeps eight adults. There are four bedrooms – one downstairs with a double bed and three upstairs, one with a double bed and the others with twin beds. There is a fold away bed under a bed somewhere, and also a folding children’s cot. Guests are expected to bring their own duvet covers, pillowslips and towels, but these can in fact be provided at an additional charge of Stg50 /week which goes directly to the caretaker for laundry fee. Note that one bed has a king size duvet cover. There is a toilet/bathroom downstairs and a toilet/shower upstairs.
The kitchen is a generously equipped with microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and plenty other electrical appliances. BBQ sets are in the garage, together with tools and garden chairs. The back and front gardens both have large picnic tables. We can be easily reached by email or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or Viber.
The house is heated with night storage heaters and there is an open fire as well as electric fires and fan heaters should you need them! There are two DVD players, many DVDs, two large flat screen TVs and a couple of radios and stereos.
In the sitting room there is a pay phone, and a telephone kiosk – traditional red one – is just across the street. Mobile phones reception for O2, Vodaphone and others is excellent. There is ADSL Broadband Wifi in the house so bring your laptop.
At the rear of the house there is a large conservatory, set up both as a living and dining area. In the shed/garage there is an extra toilet and wash basin – very handy when there are a lot of guests – or, if you are having a BBQ party! Also in the shed is a child’s push chair and a child’s car seat if you should need them.

Drumbeg’s house sitter is Vanessa Levon (+(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) and she will be delighted to answer your questions regarding the house or the area. She will arrange to have coal delivered, find a reliable baby sitter, or arrange for basic groceries to be delivered from the local shop ahead of your arrival.
WE ONLY TAKE WEEKLY RENTAL FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY, except during the low season.

We welcome well behaved pets, but charge an extra £20 /pet which is goes directly to the caretaker for extra work involved. Please make sure that the garden areas frequented by dogs are always left clean and tidy.
We also apply bedding and towels for a fee of GBP 50/week which goes directly to our caretaker.
Please treat it like your own home and we'd appreciate it if you could leave it neat and tidy before you leave.
I am from Myanmar and am a retired teacher from International School, Manila, while my husband is from Scotland and worked for the Asian Development Bank.
