Ideally located right within walking distance of Umhlanga Village (150 meters walk) and the beautiful beach promenade (300 meters walk), you couldn't get a better location. Our home is neat, modern, light and open plan. We renovated the entire unit in July 2015 and everything is brand new and clean.
Our home is situated in the highly sought-after Chartwell Road, that runs straight through the festive Umhlanga main village where you can find an abundance of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. We often walk out for dinner or a glass of wine or you can walk down to the Umhlanga promenade that stretches along the coastline for 5kms for a lovely morning stroll or afternoon run. The area is safe to walk around so you don't need to worry.
This is our first home as newlyweds and is full of all our wonderful wedding presents. We ask you to please take care when staying with us.
Our home is a happy, safe place where you can relax and feel at home.

I personally will be available to assist you as my work is based in Umhlanga Ridge so I will be close by should you have any problems during the week. I will also meet you as you check in and check out. You are welcome to call me at anytime.
Pearl is the house cleaner that will clean the house for you (twice a week) which is included in the price. Should you wish to have her do any washing or ironing please pay her directly at R 120 a load and she will gladly assist you. If you feel you want to tip her she would be eternally grateful.
Within such close proximity of the festive Umhlanga Village, you can easily stroll over and see what you like. The beach promenade makes for a fantastic morning/ evening walk and is very safe. The complex is quiet and you can park your car at your front door. The neighborhood is safe to walk around.
Walk! Because this home is so conveniently located you might not need to look further for entertainment in the area, but it will be useful having a car to explore the Durban area. Uber also works fantastically well.
To let guests into the complex you will need to open the gate with the remote and there is visitor parking bays that are mostly vacant.
The complex is a quiet place where no loud noise is allowed after 8pm in the evening. No parties/ overcrowding are allowed. No pets are allowed in the complex. Smoking is not permitted in the house (a fine will be issued if found guilty). Our domestic keeper is required to clean the house twice a week (Monday and Wednesday/Friday) that is included in the rate.
