We have children ourselves so fun and families are encouraged to stay and join in. The girls would love to share the trampoline outside. Its just a hop across a quiet road to the beach for hours of fun or a two minute walk to a beautiful park with the oldest most impressive renowned grandmother Pohutukawa tree. Truly worth a photo, and for children, a total fairy kingdom of roots and shade and playground. Many a party held at this special park. The whole area of Te Puru is a wonderful village to stroll around or even bike. It is a safe and special neighbourhood with a great local shop and takeaway that is well equipped for most foods and wine.
Approximately 5 minutes drive up the road to Waiomu Beach you will find a delightful cafe, (photos below) and from near there a wonderful walk to the the Kauri trees, easy for all level of fitness.
On many evenings, we are blessed with stunning sunsets over the Firth of Thames as it weaves its way towards the Coromandel township some 45 minutes north of here. This is the time to sip a glass of delicious New Zealand wine.
We have years of local knowledge, and can advise on family activities or a more soothing "break away from it all"
Come visit with us in this delightful beach-side village, at the Coromandel
