We're available by phone/email/text and have a local caretaker who can help quickly.
Our house is old and quirky and our style more shabby than chic; worn paint, antiques with patina, and the lawn is mostly moss and clover.
It's quiet and you can't see the road from the house, but you may hear traffic in the yard or if the windows are open. You might see (and hear) a freight train across the river, but it's infrequent.
The river path is very steep and rough, needs restoring (we're working on it).
We're on a well and septic system, so please conserve water.
- No big parties
- No smoking
- Well-behaved pets welcome (no fence). Pet damage will be taken out of the security deposit.
- We love our things and everything is checked by our caretaker after each visit. If you use a lot of kitchen staples, please replace what you use up.
- Cleaning fee: $100
We're a family of three and enjoy hiking, gardening, antiquing. We knew we had to buy our house when we first stepped out on the deck and saw the beautiful river view.
