All of the Inn Employees are familiar with the area and many are life long residents or have lived here for many years. We are hikers, skiers, snowboarders, have children, love the arts and always love to point our guests to all of the attractions and facilities that make Southern Vermont interesting and Unique.
This is an Inn and has the charm of an over a century old building, It is worn in places, and the building can be a bit quirky.
We have been called impossibly friendly, and we love having guests.
The Inn is a no smoking Building, this is strictly enforced. If a guest smokes anywhere on the premises, we will unfortunately require them to leave.
We ask that guests be respectful of each other and keep the noise down between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
I am the owner of The Saxtons River Inn, my parents purchased the Inn in 1973, renovated it and owned it for 15 years. The Inn has been through a variety of owners, and I purchased it in November of 2014.
Previously, I worked as an Estate Manager, living in Boston for over twenty years, then living and traveling between Boston, Florida and the Caribbean.
I returned to live in Saxtons River, as I was ready for a HUGE life change and to be closer to my Parents and family.
