Come and relax at our lovely beach apartment in Broadstairs. With everything you'll need for a perfect seaside holiday, you won't want to leave! Steps from the beach and numerous bars and restaurants, it really is the perfect spot.

Fabulous 1 bedroom apartment in the centre of Broadstairs but quietly hidden away behind the cliff on the beach. Heaven!Fully equipped with everything you'll need - accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children under 9 years old, one of whom must be able to be accommodated in the travel cot.

Our lovely apartment is literally steps away from beautiful Viking Bay beach. Furnished with mid century pieces and artworks by local artists, the apartment comes with everything you'll need for a relaxing break by the sea. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Wifi, Sky TV and DVD player are also provided. We provide all towels and linens. We can provide upon request a cot and a z bed to accommodate 2 children under 9 years of age. The cot can hold a child up to 15kgs according to manufacturer guidance. We also provide 1 highchair. You can relax on the patio or head to the beach which is literally only a few metres from the property through the 'secret gate'.

Broadstairs is a picturesque traditional English sea side town with a fabulous sandy beach. It has many high quality restaurants and bars and traditional pubs all within a five minute walk of the property. Broadstairs is a short bus ride or drive from Margate with its thriving arts scene, including many galleries, the Turner Contemporary and the newly reopened Dreamland, a restored vintage theme park. If you're into antiques you'll find a number of great vintage furniture shops. There are many excellent restaurants in Margate too, including the highly acclaimed fine dining Indian restaurant The Ambrette.

Broadstairs mainline train station is approximately 0.6 miles from the apartment. Trains run from St Pancras and fast trains take 1h and 20 minutes from London. Coaches run from London to Broadstairs taking between 2.5 and. 3 hours. Nearest airports are Gatwick and London Heathrow. Broadstairs is easily accessible from the M20 and M2 and is very accessible from the Folkestone Eurotunnel terminal and Dover ferry terminal.

The property is down three flights of stairs from the main door to the block and is not suitable for those with mobility problems. There is limited mobile phone reception within the apartment and we provide a landline for your convenience. Linens and towels, are provided. Please also note there is NO SEA VIEW.

This property is not accessible from a vehicular highway. You will need to park nearby and walk to the apartment - approx 7 minutes from nearest car park. Car parking charges are £2-3 per day in the winter and £8.50 a day in the summer - up until 31st October. The apartment is at beach level and therefore is down 2 flights of stairs to the main entrance to the block and then a further 3 flights to the apartment door. There is a rear access to the block that goes straight out onto the beach and you can walk along the boardwalk to the street which involves many less steps (only a few once you reach the street). As the property is surrounded by gardens we do get wood lice in the grounds and despite our best efforts a few of them sometimes make it into the apartment. It is just nature at work and we cannot do anything to stop them over and above the measures we have already taken. They are not harmful and are not a sign of poor cleanliness. We hope you understand.

This is our holiday home too and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We have furnished it carefully and ask that you look after it as you would your own property. The maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 9. We expect you to leave the apartment as you find it otherwise a cleaning fee will be payable - this includes taking the rubbish out and putting the dishwasher on or washing up all crockery and utensils.

We stayed three nights at Nathalie's flat in Eagle House. The location is fantastic with a little gate that leads directly onto the beach from the patio. (There's literally sand on the other side of the gate!) We loved the decoration and clean style of the place – we found the sofa particularly comfortable for a chilled film night and take away. Loads of restaurants and pubs literally within a couple of minutes walk of the flat. It was perfect for a weekend stay.. Thanks Nathalie!

Nathalie's apartment is very nice and our stay was so memorable made even better by having such a homely & welcoming base to come back to or spend time in. Also we had a stroke of luck with shorts & t-shirt weather at the end of September! The little touches such as DVDs, books, board games along with tupperware pots for storage, a cool bag and picnic blanket all added to the experience. So many handy & useful items were available. The decor is modern with retro touches and only a subtle coastal theme - instead of some that go mad with everything nautical! Oh yes, the small matter of being metres from the beach through a secret gate :) We would love to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and the deckchairs provided meant that we were able to laze on the beach in comfort every day! The apartment is lovely - the kitchen is beautiful and I loved the mid century pieces. I would love to stay again in the future.

Everything was fantastic the location the weather (heatwave week so very lucky) apartment was fab very clean and tidy and the beach is a matter of about 30 foot step from your door which is amazing. Nathalie's Communication is great every thing is laid out very clear in regards to your stay. So if your going to Broadstairs Look no further this is where you want to stay. Thank you Nathalie and we will be back.

A fantastic Airbnb experience! Nathalie was a great host - she was very quick to respond to our queries and made the check-in very smooth. The apartment itself was perfect for us - a couple with a young baby - and Nathalie even provided a travel cot, which was very handy as we were travelling by train. As the other reviewers have said, the apartment is in a great location in Broadstairs - just steps from the beach but also close to some lovely restaurants. Thanks for a great long weekend!
