Kopački Rit (wetlands)
Just 2 kilometers from Aljmaš lies one of the largest alluvial plains in Europe. During the year this area significantly changes its appearance depending on the intensity of flooding, mostly from the Danube and much less from the Drava. Parts of the land and marsh waters make very complex mosaic, their form and function depend on the amount of water floods make. Channels link the Danube and the Drava and there is a network of canals that make water connections within the park. With occasionally flooded areas - so called ponds, hollows where water streams and canals, there are several lakes that never dry. The largest lake is Lake Kopačko and Sakadaško is the deepest lake. Due to its preservation as a rare wetlands ecosystem of great biodiversity and exceptional scientific and ecological value, Kopački Rit was protected in 1967 and proclaimed a managed nature preserve on an area of 17,730 hectares. Narrow area of 7220 hectares was proclaimed in 1976 special zoological preserve, a wider area of 10,510 hectare was proclaimed a nature park. International significance of Kopački rit was confirmed in 1993 when it was included on the list of internationally significant wetlands, according to the Ramsar Convention. Kopački Rit was included on the list of important ornithological areas - IBA (Important Bird Area), and was also nominated for inclusion in the UNESCO (World Natural Heritage site).

Confluence of the Drava and the Danube
A place where the two rivers touch and connect people and coastline. Approximately 20 kilometers from the city of Osijek and only 2 kilometers from Aljmaš. Beautiful view of the power and magnitude of the water. After connection with the Drava, the Danube is gaining in strength and in Aljmaš reaches 800 meters in width.
Some say that when the Danube swells, Drava one time stops, almost moves upstream.

Porić
Area with greater depression with water (Tonja, Zatonj, Žabarska bara), 54 hectares of water surface, a heaven for the fish. During normal water level of the Danube depressions are connected with channels (Bogaz) to the Danube and is an ideal spawning ground for all kinds of fish living in the river Danube. Fishermen usually hunt pike and carp, and at high water perch and other fish species. The water is coming down the road Osijek - Aljmaš branching off the road for Aljmaš on the hill towards Erdut, or the same road from Erdut towards Aljmaš.

Wine Road
Situated on the eastern slopes of the hill next to the river Danube, which sails around Erdut and makes it a peninsula. Capacity of the basements of Erdut vineyards, which are situated right next to the vineyard, is liters. Erdut vineyards possess the world's largest barrel in use. It was built in 1990, and its volume is 75 000 liters. It was made by splitting 109 oak arcs. The arcs have been dried for 10 years, with thickness of 22 cm. Barrel is mounted with as much as 2.5 tons of iron.

Fair of traditional crafts and customs
Visit the fair of old crafts and customs, and see how people used to live. The accelerated pace of life and technological development causes rapid disappearance of many professions that have existed for centuries. As time passes by in our villages, artisans and old trades are dying. In the world that values everything by gaining profit, there is no room for human soul and there are fewer places for art. Long gone pinteri (coopers), klonferi (plumbers), ćurčije (furriers), tišljeri (carpenters), bunardžije(builders of wells), blacksmiths, shoemakers, watchmakers (clockmakers), serežani (field watchers) Frajman (dogcatchers). There remained only a few bakers, fishermen, carpenters, barbers ...
Revival of traditional crafts is valuable as a precious part of the tourist offer and also from cultural aspect.

Flower Fair
It is held on the first weekend in May, on a hill between Aljmaš and Erdut.
The fair brings together a large number of growers and sellers of flowers and other indigenous products.
With good cuisine, enjoy traditional dances of our Danube region.
It is organized by the local neighborhood council in cooperation with KUD "Petefi Sandor" and Tourist Office Erdut.

Live Nativity
Manger is the representation of Jesus' birth described in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. There is also live nativity scene with people dressed in Mary and Joseph, who stand motionless while living child, which represents Jesus, is lying in a manger. Ox and ass are often an integral part of the nativity scene, although it is not mentioned in the biblical account of Jesus lying in a manger. First manger was set by St.. Francis of Assisi in the Italian village Greccio in 1223 A.D. First nursery with figures, were placed in a convent in Fussen in the German state of Bavaria in 1252. Nativity scene as we know them originated from the 16th century, and increased in number since World War II.

Way of the Cross
Go on the Way of the Cross on Calvary of Aljmaš. Way of the Cross is a devotion to the memory of the Passion of Jesus, from the moment when Jesus is condemned to death to taking Jesus' body in the tomb. It consists of 14 (15) stations. In churches or in public places, for each station are set crosses, images or statues with visual representations of the Passion.
Piety dates back from Jerusalem. It emerged during the pilgrimages, when the faithful visited the places of Jesus' Passion. Way of the Cross was promoted by St. Francis of Assisi and the Franciscans, and signification of the Way of the Cross has expanded in the 18th century.
Praying part of the Way of theCross consists of prayers of preparation, 14 prayers for each station and the final prayers. Each of the prayers at 14 Stations begins with the invocation: "We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world."
Sometimes the schedule changes and some of the other stations are introduced, and the Resurrection of Jesus as the 15th station.

Fišijada (contest in cooking fish stew)
Once people were competing who will catch more fish, wildlife, chop more wood, throw farther, jump better, lift heavier burden, and now they compete - who will cook better. Fišijada is the contest with the most candidates, especially in the Danube region. There is no simpler dish than Fish stew nor are there more "little secrets of great chefs." Although the secret ingredient lies in pepper, each fish stew chef has his own recipe. There is debate whether to mince or grate the onion, which is a better shape of kettle, red willow or ash in the fire ...
Some carry their water, some make special "stock" of small fish, etc.
Whoever does not win, there are objections to the jury of a setup, and whoever wins, there is a fame in society as it once awaited the winner of the Olympic Games in ancient Greece.
