À propos de ce logement
Dragonfly Cottage is a light and airy cottage in the heart of the Georgian market town of Holt. It's a perfect getaway for families or couples, with Holt's famed independent shops and cafes on your doorstep, and beautiful beaches within easy reach.
Dragonfly Cottage is a 2 bedroom self-catering cottage set in the heart of the Georgian market town of Holt. We want to make your stay as lovely as possible and we aim to kit out the cottage with all the amenities you need to make a home away from home. When you arrive you'll be greeted with a welcome tray of home baking and local produce.
The cottage itself is split over two levels. On the ground floor there is a light and airy open plan living and dining area, leading onto the well-served kitchen. At the back of the house is the family shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, as well as a second toilet.
The back garden is fully enclosed, making it ideal for kids and pets. There is an outdoor table and chairs for four, and guests also have access to deckchairs and a BBQ. The garden shed is a secure place to store bikes and other outdoor equipment. The garden benefits from the morning sun, making it an ideal place to hang out and enjoy some cake after a busy morning's walking or browsing the shops.
The cottage benefits from lots of light throughout the day, making for a lovely space to hang out. There's plenty of comfy seating round the cosy gas fire, and a dining table for four people.
We've kitted out the cottage with lots of essentials as well as those extras that help make a holiday. In the living area you'll find board games, books (feel free to swap a book!), a radio with iPod dock, local guidebooks and maps, TV, DVD player, and a selection of DVDs. There's also free WiFi with a strong signal throughout the house.
In the kitchen you'll find an oven and hob, toaster, kettle, washing machine, fridge, freezer, and plenty of equipment for rustling up some hearty dinners (or a microwave if you fancy taking it easy!). There's also a bowl for any four-legged friends.
To help you make the most of the great outdoors there's a cool bag with picnic plates and cutlery, ice blocks, a flask, mugs, and picnic rug.
All towels and linens are included, along with extra blankets and throws for snuggling up.
We're dog lovers and dogs are very welcome at Dragonfly Cottage. We just ask that you let us know about your pooch in advance. We charge a small additional cleaning fee of £15 per dog. This will be added to your reservation.

We live nearby so we're on hand should you need any help with anything. On the other hand, we're happy to leave you to it so if you want some peace and quiet you can be sure to find it!
The stairs are fairly narrow and steep, and so may not be suitable for those with impaired mobility. They are typical for a period house of this kind. Drop us a line if you'd like to discuss this.
Dogs are welcome at Dragonfly Cottage. We charge a small additional cleaning fee of £15 per dog.
We want to be able to provide free WiFi for everyone and so we'd appreciate it if you could abide by a common sense 'fair use' approach.
Dogs are very welcome in the cottage but please be sure to clean up after them in the garden (and out and about!). We charge a small additional cleaning fee of £15 per dog. Please let us know about your pooch when making your reservation so we can add the cleaning fee.
Dragonfly Cottage is strictly no smoking.
Please be respectful of our neighbours at all times, especially when using the garden.

We are a young, professional couple with our first baby on the way! We've recently relocated to Norfolk from Glasgow and are enjoying the slower pace of life. We want our guests to love North Norfolk as much as we do! If there's anything we can do to add to your stay just let us know.
We're into travel, walking, cooking, baking, camping, the outdoors, good food and interesting conversation. Our most recent big trip was to Vietnam, which was amazing! We're hoping our next big adventure will be a road trip along the west coast of America. For now we're enjoying exploring the beautiful North Norfolk scenery right outside our door.
