Description

The penthouse is in a small development 4 mins drive from beach, in a very peaceful location with views of Africa on a clear day. It is in a gated community with beautifully landscaped gardens and has a total of 8 swimming pools.

Extremely spacious penthouse with huge terraces of 200sqm. Located on the 3rd floor, it is the only apartment on the top of the block, rather like a villa in the sky!!
A lift from the secure underground car park leads up to the entrance to the penthouse, or there are external stairs if you feel you need the exercise.
On entering you get an immediate impression of space and light with the open plan layout and the doors leading onto the terrace, which take up 2 of the walls.
The living area is beautifully furnished with white Italian leather sofas. Italian glass dining table, chairs, coffee and side tables complete the look.
50inch Smart TV with internet box which receives all the usual Sky channels, so you don’t need to miss your favourite programme. DVD player and Samsung Bluetooth speaker complete the entertainment available. Being on-the-go business owners, we appreciate the importance of keeping in touch, fibre-optic wifi is therefore available to all our guests.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned.
Bedroom 1 is large with a dressing area and an ensuite bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and bath with shower and screen. One wall of the bedroom has large sliding doors, which lead straight out onto the terrace. It has double built in cupboards with plenty of hangers and a dressing table.
Bedroom 2 also has a king sized bed. Has 2 double cupboards and again leads directly onto the terrace. Opposite is the 3rd bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and walk in shower.
The kitchen was a separate room, but on purchasing the apartment in September 2013, we had a wall removed to make a more sociable area. A large peninsular unit with 4 bar stools is the perfect place to chat whilst the paella is cooking!
Outside are the very private and peaceful southwest facing terraces providing a wonderful spot to while away the hours with a beer or a glass of cava on the double day bed or one of the 4 loungers. The sunsets are truly stunning! And the bird song is beautiful!
A 3m sun umbrella is at hand in case the sun gets a little too much! There is also a dining table and chairs for those al fresco meals, perhaps cooked on the gas barbecue?
A door from the kitchen leads onto an additional terrace overlooking one of the 8 pools. The washing machine and clothes airers are located here.
All bedrooms are air conditioned and fitted with ceiling fans.

Guests will have access to all the living space and enormous terraces of the penthouse. Also the 2 bedrooms which are on the same level.
The other 2 bedrooms which are upstairs will be locked as they are only available when renting the property as a 3 or 4 bedroom option.

I will not be available during your stay, but I do have a great maintenance/handy man nearby in case of any issues.

Only 4 minutes drive from the A7 coast road at Elviria, which is about 10 minutes east of the centre of Marbella.
Elviria is a very sought after area with fabulous golf and tennis clubs and many bars and restaurants.

Very nice and quiet penthouse exactly like the description. Nicky is very gentle for her guests. I recommand this place for holidays with family ou friends.

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war ausgezeichnet . die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und hat eine wunderschöne terasse. insgesamt eine empfehlung. wir würden wiederkommen.

Fuimos dos parejas y la experiencia ha sido FANTÁSTICA. Aunque Nicky estaba fuera de España, su atención y amabilidad ha sido exquisita y sublime, y sus instrucciones puntuales, precisas, y detalladas. Especial mención a Alina, la chica que nos esperó y nos dió las llaves, y que fue extraordinariamente amable con nosotros. No puedo más que darle muchísimas gracias a Nicky. Como yo sospechaba, el ático es incluso mejor de lo que parece en las fotos, así como la terraza, muy amplia, y con barbacoa, hamacas, y una curiosa tienda de campaña por si quieres dormir fuera de noche, lo cual es recomendable. El ático es genial, al estar en realidad en su casa, se aprecia que le tienen carió., pues todo está limpio y cuidado, además de que tienes todo lo necesario, para en un momento dado, organizar una barbacoa, poner un vídeo musical con la Smart TV... Por mencionar un detalle, en el techo de los dormitorios hay ventiladores de aspa, que son sin duda lo mejor y más sano. Y por mencionar otra nimiedad, hasta los posavasos que tiene están chulísimos, al tener un dibujo en 3D. :-D Está arriba de la montaña del tramo de la playa Elviria, un poco más abajo de la autopista, y al estar en plena montaña todo es tranquilo, al despertar tienes ese estupendo olor a campo, algo que valoro mucho al vivir siempre metido en ciudad. Esperamos volver muy pronto, en cuanto nos sea posible. Sobre la zona de Elviria no opino, pues la conozco desde hace muchos años, pero en resumen, está GENIAL ese tramo de costa, al ser un enclave PRIVILEGIADO. E insisito, aquéllo es su casa, y es recomendable tratarla como si fuera la casa propia, así como todas las cosas que uses.

We are a couple in our fifties who love life and living it! We run a successful optometry practice in Northampton and travel a great deal as my husband is frequently presenting to other professionals all over the world. We have 2 married sons and are lucky enough to have three beautiful grandchildren.
We bought a 2 bed apartment in Calahonda in 2007 (which is for sale by the way!) and have had many happy times there with family and friends. The expanding family prompted a move to a larger property and we are delighted with our new home in Spain! We got to know the Elviria area over the past 7 years and our favourite beaches are located here. It is not too far from the airport and close to the excellent restaurants and sights in Marbella. The location was an obvious choice for us.
Our tick list was very specific after our last apartment. Must have a great view - tick! Must be light, open and facing the correct way - tick! Must have huge terraces and bedrooms that open straight onto them - tick! Must be a great entertaining space - tick!
