'Donka' and Piotr' will be there to greet you on your arrival. They speak fluent English and will be on hand during your stay if you need them. You are welcome to leave their mobile number with family and friends, should they need to contact you urgently.
The water and the radiators are heated by the wood burning stove. An ample supply of firewood can be found on the porch, or will be stacked in the garden in summer. There is also an immersion heater for hot water.
The water supply comes from a recently installed well and is good quality, but for not drinking.
In the summer months, the climate is very pleasant, but there are two mechanical fans and a mobile air conditioning unit, should temperatures rise.
Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and extra special care is always needed in buildings of wooden construction. We ask all guests to be extra vigilant when extinguishing and disposing of matches and to refrain from using naked flames (e.g. candles) or from smoking inside the house. Also, do not leave any combustible materials near the wood burning stove and do not leave burning gas rings unattended.
