Description

Large family home in Northumberland National Park and Dark Sky Park. On walking route and the Sandstone Way cycle route. One double, one twin and one twin/double, all ensuite available. Breakfast included and dinner by arrangement.

The Garden Room is a large sunny room on the ground floor. It has its own access from the drive and doors to the garden.

To get to the main house for breakfast guests have to go out and walk a few yards to the main front door.

We are available to help guests plan their stay. We can advise on where to eat and what to see while they are with us.

We are situated in the Northumberland National Park and Dark Sky Park. The Cheviot Hills are within walking distance and the starry skies can be seen - weather permitting - through our telescope.

There is no public transport in Ingram. The nearest railway station is Alnmouth, half an hours drive away, and the nearest airport is Newcastle. We are happy to collect and deliver for a fee. Please ask us.

We do offer dinner by arrangement to our guests who either arrive too late to go and find a pub or restaurant, or for those who just want to relax 'at home' and not drive anywhere after a busy day.

Règlement intérieur
L'entrée dans les lieux se fait à partir de 16:00
Départ avant 10:00

Ingram House is our family home and we ask guests to respect this. Family members may well be around, as well as other guests. We do have dogs and cats - sometimes they stray into parts of the house they are not meant to be in. They will do no harm but please ask us to remove them!

Jane and Adrian were lovely, warm hosts full of local knowledge. The house is very comfortable and our room was great - lots of space, nice and warm, dressing gowns, comfy bed - perfect after a long day's walking. We had nice chats each morning (about Ingram, family, London and partridges) over a great cooked breakfast, and Jane and Adrian were always offering to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We left the house on foot and would be surrounded by beautiful, peaceful and silent countryside in minutes. A beautiful area and a great place to experience it from!

Jane provided outstanding hospitality. We stayed in the Garden room, which was beautifully presented with French doors to the garden and delicious scent from themock orange planed to left and right of the steps. the welcome was very warm, with homemade cake and tea on arrival. We asked for dinner- which again was delicious and generously served. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Jane and Adrian made us feel really welcome - didn't hassle us even though we were late to arrive (due to a tussle with a hill and some low cloud!). Nothing was too much trouble - sorting out our wet walking gear, breakfast, making recommendations for where to go, where to eat. Food was super tasty and the chocolate digestives and home make cake were fab extras.

Had a wonderful stay. House, room and setting perfect - as were the hosts Jane and Adrian. Delicious breakfast and nothing was too much to ask for - they even lent me some wellies, as I had forgotten mine, so I could go for a walk. Would highly recommend a visit and would love to return.
