À propos de ce logement
This is my home, I love both the apartment and the location.
I offer the dining room/guest room for travelers who are looking for a central, but calm place to stay while exploring Oslo.
If you are three friends traveling together, please contact me - I can make arrangement for a third guest if you don't mind sleeping on a sofa!
The apartment building is from 1897, and was refurbished in 2004 - blending the old posh style with a more modern clean style.
The location is also great - the building is located in a street with very little traffic, so it's quiet. Still, there are plenty of cozy cafés, restaurants and small shops in the neighbourhood - and an old fashioned movie theatre where they serve alcohol just 100 meters from the apartment!

I can give you tips on where to go and what to see - both in Oslo, and other great places in Norway if you are here for a longer visit.
I've been living in Oslo since 2010, I have friends from all over the world, so I have learned what non-Norwegians might find interesting here in Oslo.
There will be construction work in the backyard for four weeks after Easter. The work will be from 7 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri.
As the guest room is facing the street, not the backyard, this shouldn't affect my guests.
As this is my home, I expect my guests to treat the apartment with respect.
While staying here, you are welcome to keep the guest room as messy as you like - that's your private space for the stay. Please don't leave things floating around in the other rooms of the apartment. Clean the kitchen counter and all equipment you have used (if it doesn't go in the dish washer).
I try to be environment friendly by separating plastic, paper, glas and food garbage, and hope that you will join me in this small effort for a less destroyed nature.
Between 11 pm and 6 am during the week, and midnight and 7 am in the weekends we all keep quiet. That means no cooking, no TV and no loud music or voices. However - if you are out partying, it's absolutely ok to come home whenever you feel like coming home, just try to keep quiet.
Please inform me before you are having guests over (just send me a msg or give me a call a few minutes in advance).
No partying - but a few drinks at night is ok.

I'm an easy-going person, who loves to travel around the world. I also enjoy traveling around in Norway, especially hiking in the mountains - Norwegian mountains and woods are raw, clean and, sometimes, challenging. As I am a country girl living in the big city, I need my days hiking to revive myself once in a while. I wish that those who visit Norway, take their time to experience some of our nature!
