A spacious, quiet one bedroom apartment. Set at the back of a private gorgeous garden overlooking pool and palms. With own separate access. Like a little holiday retreat, in the centre of Sydney. Central to Sydney Airport, City, beaches, parks, Randwick Racecourse, PoW Hospital and UNSW.
Our inner city hideaway was built in the 90's as a granny flat. It's light and airy and looks onto our private garden and swimming pool. In summer the frangipani is a gorgeous backdrop. Every room is separate - bedroom, lounge and kitchenette as well as a shower / bathroom. So for a one bedroom flat it's quite spacious. It has some quirky fixtures, like the chocolate brown toilet, the laundry/hand basin and the retro slate flooring, which all add to it's charm.
The queen bed is super comfortable as is the lounge, where you have access to TV, WIFI and Sonos for music. There is also a desk for you to use if you are on business, studying or want a place to write in general.
There is a small food preparation area in the kitchenette for light meals, with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and dining table. Tea, coffee and milk are provided.
We are so close to the University of NSW, NIDA, Prince of Wales Hospital the City, 15 minutes to the airport and close to many beaches. In fact the 370 bus stops on our street and takes you all the way to Coogee. Walking distance to Randwick Racecourse and the beautiful Centennial Park as well as the SCG and Entertainment Quarter. We are not far from some very new, hip eating and drinking areas as well.
Parking is readily available on the street but happy to accomodate if you need to use our drive.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have their own access to the granny flat, sometimes referred to as the 'Man Cave'!
The Pool. If you can swim you are more than welcome to share our pool. We are not a resort so there might be the odd leaf or two and no lifeguard on duty. In summer it is refreshing and in winter downright arctic.
We are a non smoking household so strictly no smoking on the premises please.
There is a bus on our street but the main buses are a short walk away on Anzac Pde. It's not too far to Green Square Station but not suitable to walk with luggage.

As often as possible we greet guests on arrival but we are busy business owners so on the odd occasion we will arrange access for you if we can't be there at the same time. We are a family of four, and have two school age girls. We are happy to let you know about the area and Sydney in general. And always love to hear your story.
You are welcome to our BBQ facilities and shared outdoor eating area.
We hope that you have the most comfortable and relaxing of stays. We would expect you to respect it as your own and leave it as you would like others to leave it for you.
No pets are allowed and strictly no smoking.
This is a residential area, so please respect your 'neighbours', with quiet entry and exit. No extra guests.
We are a family of 4, Gab, JD and Zara (9) and Tessa (6). We love entertaining and are quite social. But that's not to say we don't love downtime. Because of the pool we are lucky that people like to come over, but we do have the pleasure of a private house which is like our own little resort. We all grew up mainly in Sydney, but Gab's parents are from Prague so there's a big connection to travel and Europe. We love where we live, because of it's proximity to the city, harbour, beaches and amazing restaurants and cafes.
JD and I have our own businesses. I am a Learning & Development Specialist for SME and Corporate, you can see (email hidden)(website hidden) and JD is a Sales Transformation Specialist, (website hidden). Our girls are in year 4 and 2.
