Another service if wanted is Baby-Sitting for a few hours at night. Please let me know if you are interested and i can share the details and cost for Carols baby-sitting with you. Carol is a lady in her 50+ who loves children and misses her own grand-children. So would love to give you a night off/ (for a few hrs) to go out and have dinner. She is also the lady who makes sure the unit is clean and ready for your arrival so you can definitely meet her and have a chat.
BR1 Master bedroom has a queen size bed with en-suite
BR2 Middle room has a queen sized bed
BR3 has a king sized bed that can be split to form 2 king-single beds. Your preference, BUT let us know otherwise the bed will be left as a king
Theres plenty to do and see in the area. I'd like to think theres something for everyone, a relaxing and a great base for tropical Queensland attractions. A multitude of pamphlets can be found in the unit to help you plan out & decide on how you want to spend your time in Cairns. Fresh water or salt water, reef, beautiful countryside or rainforest. No need to decide almost all tours allow last minute bookings and after hrs calls.
Some of the activities on offer: White water rafting (wet reason), cable ski, kite surfing, fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving or checking out the Botanical gardens or the many waterfalls in the area. The list goes on. See the list of places that i have pointed out on air bnb guidebook.

Its about a 10-15min drive from the airport (would not attempt to walk) t used the service yet!!
Its a ground floor unit and only has one step near the entrance. We have had a few groups of people stay in the unit who have said that the unit is definitely wheelchair friendly!!!

Open plan living area with a Kitchen that has all the tools that any cook could need.
Lounge has very comfy sofa to relax & watch plenty of movies or TV shows on NETFLIX.
Please find the large communal rubbish/trash bin in the enclosed wooden fence near the entrance of the property.
Theres also a shared swimming pool in the complex, children must be supervised and the area be kept clean. No glass cups or bottles while in this area please.
The waterfront/esplanade is where you can easily find entertainment for children of all ages like Muddies play ground, beach volleyball, skate park, which are free to use.
The Reef Fleet Terminal is the place where you catch a boat to head out to the Great Barrier reef (aprox 30min walk)
Most tour companies offer a courtesy pickup & drop off; i.e pickup from near by hotel Bayleaf. The hotels and tourist shops can also book tours in for you and can offer further advice and pamphlets on thing to do in the area
Close places to eat/ find food :
Breakfast or lunch: - Bagus Cafe (Indonesian), Jamdrop caffe, Muddies cafe, Ridges esplanade.
Dinner : - Cock & Bull (pub), Bay leaf (Balinese), Ridges esplanade, Pizza hut, Fish & chips... just on Sheridan st. Plenty to choose from
Closest supermarket is the Friendly Grocer on Sheridan st, its open 24hrs, and for that privilege is twice the price of a regular supermarket (5-10min walk)
Theres also a Liquorland on the corner on Sheridan st open till 10 pm most nights.
Otherwise Cairns Central is a shopping centre with a Coles, Kmart, Target, Myer and many other shops (20-30min walk).
Theres a Woolworths thats about 10-20min walk straight down Grafton st.
Cheaper car rental nearby rather than large commercial rentals at the airport. Let me know if this is something you are interested in.
