Our Humming Bird guest suite is situated in the lower level of our family home, set in a beautiful rocky forest with spectacular views of the Strait of Georgia and the mountains of Vancouver Island. There are walking trails through the five acre property and plenty of deck space adjoining the suite to enjoy the surroundings.
The suite has a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower. In the living area there is a sofa, and also a daybed that converts into two twin-size beds. There is a TV with DVD player (no cable or satellite channels) and a small kitchen with a toaster oven, fridge with small freezer box, microwave oven and a kettle with tea and coffee supplies. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality china and kitchen essentials. A breakfast bar adjacent to the kitchen comfortably seats four. There is a propane barbecue on the deck, shared with the other suite. We will offer you a complimentary breakfast basket for your first morning. Weekly and monthly discounts.

Our Humming Bird suite is situated on the lower level of our family home, at the opposite end to our other suite, Soaring Eagle. Both suites each have their own private entrance and shared use of the wrap-around lower deck. Parking is on the driveway at the front of the property. We have walking trails through the five acre property. These are hilly and rough in places so please bring appropriate footwear.

If there is anything you need during your stay please feel free to ask and we will do our best to help. There are some local maps and guide brochures in the suite , and we will be happy to also advise you of places worth a visit.
Children are welcome to stay at Leaning Tree Lodge but please be aware that the property, just like much of the west coast, is rocky with some large drops in some areas. Everyone should stay on the indicated pathways and decks and children should be supervised at all times. Wild animals, including black bears and coyotes, occasionally wander through our property.
Guests are expected to respect the beautiful natural area that we live in.
We are strictly a non-smoking property.
We cannot allow pets.
No garbage or food should be left outside overnight as it will attract bears and other wildlife.
Please respect our other guests and neighbours by keeping noise to a reasonable level. Quiet time between 10pm and 7am.
