Cleanliness: The bathroom (shower room) smelled awful. The mold mildew musty smell could be detected from the bedroom across the apartment. Also it looked as if someone dropped their coffee cup and there were brown splatters all over the cabinets in the kitchen. The sheets and pillows and towels all felt very clean and fresh. Accuracy: It's called a terrace apartment but the terrace is not connected to the apartment nor is it private or even on the same floor as the apartment. I feel the title of the place is a little misleading. Communication: I originally received a welcome email with helpful information but when I emailed to ask about parking (it said that private parking needed a prior reservation) I received no response. It wasn't until I arrived and checked in at the office counter that I received a response. Check in: It was easy but I was on foot and it was quite a distance...walking with suitcases and bags and 70 year old parents) from the train station to pick up the keys from the office and then walk another 15 minutes to the house was a little more than we expected. Also, it felt more like a hotel check in where contracts were signed... less like an Airbnb. Location: location was great!!!! Right around the corner from the old town market square. You can hear the trumpet player from the apartment! Value: Honestly, for the money I think I would have preferred a hotel on this one. Normally I don't have my parents and I may have been more okay with the check in and walk but the smell was terrible. Also we had to buy our own toilet paper bc only one roll was left for us. Also it says that (as an extra) coffee is provided but there was only enough for one morning. If it's listed as an extra and says that it is ,provided, it should be enough for the entire stay. Also, it would have been nice to have back up towels. We only received the bare minimum of one towel each for the entire stay.

It s a lovely place in the central of Krakow. However, it s quite difficult for those who have luggages because there is no elevator. All the restaurants and shops are nearby, also minimart opens 24 hrs.

Greg was really helpful with communication. The location is ideal for being near the Old Town and surrounded by the supermarket, pubs and a kebab shop -which is delicious. I felt the pictures were a little misleading and the fixtures and fittings of the flat are of a lower quality than expected. But for a basic weekend away flat it did the job

Hello traveler!

I’m native Polish, but I used to live in Amsterdam, in Lisbon, and visited some 30 other countries so far. I've always been working for tourism, which is my passion. Besides that I like cultural events, life music, family-run restaurants, horseback riding, tennis, water sports. While backpacking I stayed in various accommodations, starting from hammock in Thailand, hut in India, ending with 5-star hotels in Italy.

I'm passionate about Krakow, and can provide you with some tips on where to go/eat/party/do sports, etc. off the beaten tourist path.

I'll be happy to host you in private apartments (check my portfolio), all located in different historic buildings of Krakow's old town. I also organize MUST-SEE tours - Auschwitz Birkenau, Wieliczka Salt Mine, and other.
Over 1500 happy Airbnb guests picked my listings, what makes me probably the most active member of Airbnb community in Krakow ;-)
