The newly renovated apartment is located in the Lower Garden district just 3 blocks from Magazine St. and an easy walk to the beautiful St. Charles Ave.

Le logement

The apartment is in the City's oldest standing Synagogue. Originally built in 1860, with bricks that were collected prior to the Civil War, the building still holds its original character. Inside the apartment you will notice angled ceiling joists that were originally used as mezzanine seating.

The Synagogue's conversion into an apartment building was completed in 2014.

There is one dedicated off street parking spot.

Sleeping: There is one Master Bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

Sheets, blankets, hairdryer and hand soap included.

Eating: Full size kitchen, re-claimed wood counter tops, and all new appliances (stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, etc.). All dinnerware, cooking dishes/utensils, and Kuerig coffee/teas selection are provided.

Guests will have access to the apartment upstairs as well as one dedicated parking space.

Upon arrival we can be there to greet you and show you to your apartment.

There will be a guide book located on the coffee table with information on where to eat, drink and how to get around. As well as information for local activities and scooter/bike rentals.

And of course we will be available to answer any other questions you may have!

This is an amazing apartment in an OCCUPIED apartment building to be fully enjoyed but treated respectfully, as you would treat your own place - so please:

Please keep your voices down especially after 11PM. Again, this building is occupied and there people above and below you!

No smoking on the property.

Upon entering the residence, please kindly remove your shoes.

Use provided coasters and place mats for your glasses, plates, etc.

Keep music and noise at a reasonably low level between 10 pm and 9 am.

Please keep the front door locked at all times.


- Throw all trash and left over food in the trash cans located near the garage.
- Please put any used dishes in the dishwasher and run.

Great location, amazing space & accommodating host. If you want to be away from the touristy downtown hotel area and near a hip and historical area this is for you.

This apartment was perfect and was just what I was expecting and hoping for. Gregg gave me great instructions for entry, and the space felt very safe and secure. It was conveniently located. I rented a bike from the Arts District Bike Rental and got around easily by bike for the majority of my trip. The space was very clean, as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone, and will be seeking it out for future trips to NOLA!

Great space. Very new and comfortable. Gregg is very responsive and helpful. Parking is great. Easy rules and instructions.

Nice big clean modern space. Very well equipped. We like public transport and the space was accessible to many bus and streetcar lines. When we had a rental car there was secure off street parking. Great place.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in May! What a beautiful apartment, perfect for the two of us - well equipped, modern finishes and great location! Magazine Street is around the corner and has lots of cool shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious for two!
