This is a fire sensitive area. No candles in the house allowed and campfire is only allowed in the backyard bbq fire pit with a water hose close by. The house is off grid, with solar, battery storage and gas generator. Be mindful of your energy use.
Respect for the surrounding wilderness and wild and scenic river requires being mindful of your impact and conscious of your surroundings (i.e no littering or polluting the environment and mindfulness that you are sharing this area with wild animals. Bears come out at night and go after trash cans if they are not secured.

We're a family of four, me, my wife and two boys 6 and 11 years old. We're staying at our vacation home this year so our home is available for short term renting. We're both working professionals. My wife is a teacher and I'm an environmental consultant.
We love good food, nature, and traveling to Crete, Greece to visit relatives.
