Although I did not meet Vic, he was very responsive in communication. The location was accurate and exactly what I needed. It was very convenient being close to the BART and airport. I would not hesitate in staying here again if I return to the SF area.

I can't comment on Vic himself as I never saw him during my stay but I must remark that his "hacker home" attracts quite the diverse bunch. Social justice warriors will find themselves entirely out of their element. During my two weeks here I met two masculine lads from Holland, a quiet Asian girl, a talkative black girl whose day jobs consisted of trading stocks and making sure Linux servers stayed offline, and some guy whose country I can't for the life of me remember but gave me a rather tasty chocolate treat. Whatever flaws Vic may have, sexism and racism surely cannot be counted among them. Or at any rate they surely don't interfere with his conduct of economic business. The wifi could have been faster and had more coverage inside the house, but considering there's a genocide going on in Syria, I won't register any complaints.

I had a great time staying here. Vic was a great host. There was ample privacy when I needed it. And the facilities available were all very useful. I highly recommend staying here!

Place was lively and host Vic was amazingly responsive and flexible which was really nice. Couple of times at least, he went out of his way to help make my stay comfortable.

The description of the home was very accurate. The neighborhood was normal.

The apartment was very cleanly, and was conveniently a few minutes walk to the colma bart station. You will also have an opportunity to meet other awesome people during your stay. The only negative would be the paper thin walls separating the rooms, but generally the tenants are travelers or working professionals, so they are mindful to keep the noise level down at night.
