Description

Completely renovated and refurbished in 2015, this bright and comfortable house offers a wonderful base for exploring the North Norfolk coast line and surrounding market towns.

The Old Bakery was completely renovated and refurbished in 2015. It is a bright and comfortable base from which to enjoy a North Norfolk holiday.

Upstairs can accommodate six people in three bedrooms (one king, and two sets of twin beds). Also upstairs there are two bathrooms - one full bathroom and one shower room with WC.

Downstairs an additional two people can sleep on the sofa bed in the study. There are a range of books and board games, as well as a smart TV and DVD player. There is a large living room with two comfy sofas and a large dining table. The modern kitchen also provides a table and seating. The old bread oven is in the downstairs hallway. Off of this hallway is a third shower room and a separate utility area with a Belfast sink, washer/dryer, airer, iron and ironing board.

A travel cot, booster seat and high chair are available for use.

At the front of the house there is a private garden that has recently been landscaped with outside seating and a disposable BBQ. There is off-road parking for 2-3 cars.

The entire house and garden.

Available by email.

Burnham Thorpe, birth place of Horatio Nelson, is a quiet and beautiful village close to the North Norfolk coast. Just a hop, skip and a jump to the Holkham Estate, Burnham Market, Burnham Overy Staithe, Wells, Brancaster, and a whole host of other top spots.

In the village you can also find Salt Glass Studios and a display about Nelson in the church.

Across the road from the house's garden is the village playing field with an array of equipment to keep little ones entertained. The Lord Nelson pub across the playing field has been closed by Greene King for renovation work, we look forward to it being open again.

The Coastal Hopper bus service stops approximately 1.5 miles away from the house, and serves coastal locations from Kings Lynn to Cromer.

Exploring the area by bicycle is easy as National Cycle Route 1 passes through the village, and the network of footpaths should keep the walkers happy.
