This guest threatened a bad review unless she received a discount for a problem that she did not report while it was supposedly happening. There was no e-mail or phone call from this guest. When we are given a chance to respond to an actual problem while it is happening and we fail to meet expectations, we have no issue providing a discount. At the same time, this guest did not call us while the noise issue was supposedly happening. This is a 30 unit building and no other guest, including this one, reported any noise problem that night. I have more than 1900 reviews and 95% are 4 or 5 stars. I am very proud of the customer service and accomodations that my company offers. This guest received my 2nd bad review in over 5 years of hosting on AirbNb and I do not wish any other host to deal with the experience.
