There are so many factual errors in your review that I will have to respond to them one at a time so other hosts are aware before hosting you. Firstly you made the booking on 21 May 2018 and you requested to cancel your booking 21 June 2018. 1 month after booking and 1 day before arrival . Clearly 30 days is not the same as 2 days after booking. Given that you weren’t happy with my cancellation policy, I thought I will upgrade you to a bigger, newer apartment with a wrap around balcony (listed on AirBNB as well) instead but clearly you had arrived with a negative mindset and weren’t happy with the upgrade. Firstly, you contacted me at 10.30pm on Friday night telling me that the washing machine is door is stuck. I advised you straightaway not to try an open the door but clearly you did as the door handle was broken. You forgot to mention in your review that your checkout was Saturday morning so even if I wanted to call a technician to open the washer door, I wouldn’t get anyone until Monday morning. Then you got aggressive towards me. I had to ask if I could talk to someone else as you were getting quite unreasonable with me. I host hundreds of guests through AirBNB and outside of AirBNB and NO one has ever complained about getting an upgrade. As an industry standard, items left behind in anywhere in the world are posted to the rightful owner at their cost. I dont know what world you travel in that you thought that I should have to pay for your clothes to be posted back to USA when A. You broke my washing machine door that cost me $125 to get it repaired and B, you were aggressive and unreasonable with me. I acknowledge that I forgot to give you a code for wifi when you checked in and I advised you I will reimburse you upon checkout but you just handed the key and left! I believe all this stemmed from me refusing a refund for your last minute cancellation request.
