À propos de ce logement
A beautiful building, sympathetically styled to old world charm. This former pub is nestled in a heritage gold mining town alongside the picturesque Tamar River. Come and follow the wine route, tour the museums and walk in heritage listed forests.
This historic accommodation experience starts with a private entrance into the former Exchange Hotel, built in the 1880's. The grand hallway boasts an impressive Huon Pine staircase that leads up to the separate accommodation wing. The tranquil accommodation spaces are separate from the owners' residence and guests have access to a separate Guest Lounge/Drawing Room.
The Guest Lounge/Drawing Room is a quiet space with a sun-lit bay window, a dining table for the scrumptious hot breakfast, and easy reading chairs: perfect for settling in for the night with a good book from the library and a complimentary glass of port or whisky and equipped with a TV and DVDs.
Accès des voyageurs
Guest access is via a private carpark to the rear of the building into the sunny courtyard with ample seating around a communal fire pit - ideal for those chillier nights. Within the separate accommodation wing guests have access to the bathroom with a shower and toilet, the large spacious Guest Lounge/Drawing Room.

I am a classical violinist and teacher who enjoys renovating, interior design, ceramics, printmaking, fishing and gardening. I love everything with a history and enjoy collecting and repairing antiques. I could not live without my family, books, wood fires and my French bulldog. As a classical musician it's all about the detail and I believe that carries on into everything I strive to do. Ambience is essential when staying in a historic property and I hope that it will bring joy to every guest who finds themselves dwelling in this space - even if it's just for a short time.
