Stumps for seating around campfire.
This is a 10x10 on the main pad. The maximum tent size this pad can hold would probably be a 10x12, but it is a tight fit. An 8x8 or 9x9 tent would fit much more comfortably.

This campsite is located in a secluded location on our farm, accessible by foot only. The site is located by the side of the creek in a quiet wooded area with beautiful views, and plenty of nearby hiking.

Our farm has not and never will discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity/culture, sexual identity, or gender identity. Your dignity and human rights will always be respected here.

Come unwind in a non-judgmental atmosphere of relaxation and healing, surrounded by nature. Enjoy this pristine creekside location with easy access to national forest trails nearby. Enjoy the many agritourism aspects of our farm while you stay here with us.

Space comes with optional use of a parachute hammock. A hammock stand is also available upon request.

Internet is available on the property, but does not reach our campsites. You are welcome to sit on our porch and use the wifi any time you need it.

The campsite is only accessible by foot, and requires climbing a set of rustic stairs which are pictured in the photos. This is not a particularly hard climb but may not be suitable for everyone.

A solar shower and composting toilet at the Bamboo bathroom near the main house, about 1/4 mile from the campsite, will be available for camping guests.

This campsite has a small parking area only a short walk away, giving you easier access to your vehicle than our other campsite listing.

We enjoy showing folks around our property as time allows. We do have many responsibilities with our farm animals, and don't always have much time to socialize. But we are social beings if time allows, and otherwise will be available if you need something so please just ask. Meals are available seasonally. If planning on having one or more meals - please let us know ahead of time, we strive to serve great food made with excellent, farm-fresh ingredients. We are experienced with accommodating a variety of food needs, including gluten-free and lactose-free diets.

You can hike up to the national forest from our property, and explore 24,000 acres of lush wilderness, with numerous hiking trails and waterfalls.

Nearby attractions include Quiet Reflections, Mountain Gardens, Mt. Mitchell, South Toe River and many miles of trails. See our guidebook for details.

We maintain a website and other social media for our farm with more information, search for Duck Dance Farm to find out more about our agricultural practices.

Profil utilisateur de AndrewAndrew est un Superhost.

Interested in sustainable agriculture, green design, geometry and conservation of endangered breeds of waterfowl. Enjoy taking care of animals, hiking, and making geometric models (author of Geometric Modeling, published as an e-book, May 2015). My wife Pat and I work hard to maintain our farm, which showcases ecosystem-based aquaculture in our ponds, and has a variety of landscaped and park-like areas for our guests and ourselves to enjoy. We also enjoy food preparation for our guests, featuring seasonal farm fresh ingredients, as time allows.
