Ideally located in the heart of Point Grey, one of Vancouver's oldest and most desirable neighborhoods. Close to UBC, forests, parks and beaches, this location also offers the convenience of being very near restaurants, shops and services.
This beautiful suite was built in the 1950s and has the hardwood floors and spaciousness typical of that era. The suite was completely renovated in 2013 and features new kitchen cabinets, new appliances, a new bathroom and new lighting. It is one one flight up from street level (no elevator), with a quiet location at the back of the building and a sunny southern exposure. Pay-laundry facilities and a bicycle storage room are in the building.

I'll be available during June. Otherwise, the building caretakers, an experienced retired couple, will handle check in and check out, as well as respond to any problems or inquiries.
Although West 10th Avenue is a busy street during the day this apartment is located at the back of the building, so street noise is minimal. The suite is located one flight up from ground floor. There is no elevator.
Point Grey is a quiet neighborhood, particularly at night, and this is a quiet apartment building occupied by long-term tenants, mostly graduate students or working professionals. Although 1950s suites have the advantage of lots of space and beautiful, hardwood floors, they don't have modern soundproofing between walls and floors, so you have to be careful, particularly after 10 p.m., not to disturb the other tenants with loud conversation or music. Also, you should remove your shoes when walking in the dining/living room so as not to disturb the tenant below with your footsteps.
