400 year old Welsh cottage alongside pretty stream in secluded valley.
Ground floor has a comfortable lounge, (inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, TV, DVD ), a kitchen (gas hob, 4 function oven, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) utility room ( washing machine, iron and ironing board), conservatory overlooking the river, downstairs loo.
Spiral stone stairs go up behind the chimney to large bedroom with oak beams, king size bed and ensuite bathroom (bath and hand held shower).
Outside is there is off-road parking, space to sit by the river, walks from the door and 500 square miles of National Park with mountains, woodland, rivers and valleys!

Guests have use of whole of cottage which has two entrances.

You will have sole use of the cottage with complete privacy. Owners live down the road in a converted chapel and can arrange activities, help with information about local area etc, organise transport etc. if required. There is an attached house next door which is occupied by our elderly mother - she is well behaved , she likes to feed the birds and has a couple of chickens and a cat!
Cottage is Self Catering - we supply firewood, hot water, bedding, towels, hand wash, loo rolls.
Cottage has low beams and doorways and access to bedroom is via spiral stone staircase - so probably not suitable for tall folk or those with mobility issues.
There is an attached house next door which is occupied by our elderly mother - she has a couple of chickens and a cat.
The area is distinctly agricultural, with plenty of sheep (and lambs in the Spring), hence no dogs.....
Strictly no smoking in the cottage and no dogs please.
