Unwind and settle into this updated bungalow in the heart of Silver Lake. Bright with glass on two sides this cozy abode is nestled in between the Silver Lake hills and 100 foot tall Eucalyptus, Ash and Ficus trees.
Whether you come to LA for work or pleasure, this bungalow gives you the best of both worlds - convenience and comfort. Hollywood is just 10 minutes away, Downtown is 15 minutes away, and all major freeways are very easy to get to. For your comfort you’ll enjoy crisp white bed sheets, a new medium firm mattress and queen sized bed, a bright, well-appointed kitchen with enough counter space to prep delicious meals if you so desire. Fresh fluffy towels, soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and hairdryer are all available, just in case! An iron, ironing board and plush bath robes are also on hand – enjoy! Every detail has been lovingly considered. You will not be disappointed! The house is quaintly situated on a large property with two other houses, each with their own garden and patio area.
Your kitchen will be stocked with pod coffee, coffee maker and tea as well as disposable coffee pods for your own preferred grind, sweeteners and non-dairy creamer. You will have salt & pepper, some spices, oil and balsamic vinegar. Have your cup of coffee in the morning at your outdoor cafe table just outside your living room and bedroom.
High wooden vaulted ceilings , gas stove, microwave, large refrigerator, toaster, pod coffee brewer and electric kettle. Large flat screen tv with cable tv, and complimentary wifi.
The garden and patio area is just off the deck and offers as much outdoor living space as the interior. Open the full length glass sliding doors and windows to your bungalow and saunter between garden and house as you eat and sip. This is al fresco living at its best.
The days are warm and there is nearly always a cool breeze that sifts between the two hills that the house is situated between. There's a small wall unit A/C in the living room.
Although Silver Lake is bustling this secluded is set back away from the street. This is a really great space for hanging out, relaxing, cooking, reading and being creative.
We do have street parking available on the street right out in front of the house, also on the street that runs down the side of the property, and also on the street behind the house.
Accès des voyageurs
The property is gated at the front and your bungalow is situated behind the main house toward the rear of the property. Once you are inside the front gate simply walk straight down the tree-lined pathway toward the rear of the garden to your rustic bungalow.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We live in the front house on the property. We are never more than an email or text away. When we are at the property we will interact with you as much or as little as you want. Your privacy and enjoyment are important to us and we want you to have a great time while you are visiting here.
The kitchen cabinets are high so we've included two step stools for your use (one small, one tall).
Gardener comes usually on Saturday.
The housekeeper for the unit next door sometimes uses the laundry facilities in the back courtyard so you may see her go by if she's working that day.
No film shoots or photo shoots please.
Due the large trees no fires can be lit anywhere on the property.
Please be sure dishes are done and the place is tidy when you leave, although no need to make beds. We will do the heavy cleaning and take care of laundering sheets and towels. Kindly pick up after yourself and use the trash bin we have placed for you by the gate.
No smoking inside the house or outside if the house doors are open. The
Breeze will blow smoke into the house.
Please don't leave the ac or heat on with the windows open and we'd prefer if you turned off the ac/heat while you're out.

Please respect the neighbors while on the property and keep the sound level tolerable. We would appreciate you removing your shoes while in the cottage.
