À propos de ce logement
New Studio that was just completed March 2016. It has a contemporary feel, and all that you would need for a vacation in Seattle.
This space is a brand new guest suite in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood, of beautiful homes. The space comes fully furnished but note that the kitchenette has a toaster oven and a dual induction countertop plate instead of a stove. So easy to cook a meal but from personal experience most people do not use the kitchen to cook but rather warm up left-overs from eating out.
The unit has a walk in shower with no curb to step over. There is also a deck where one can sit and drink coffee in the morning. As well as a nice Seattle Skyline view from the bed.
There is a couch that a 3rd person could sleep on. Note that this isn't a pull out bed but rather a couch that is sufficient in size to sleep on. It does not come wiht a washer/dryer but should you have need of a washer/dryer, I could make arrangements for you to use mine.
Accès des voyageurs
Although I say guest suite, in truth, it is a studio with it's own private entrance. Parking is on the street but there is always parking. The unit has a combination lock so upon renting the space, I will ask you for a 4 digit number and code that into the lock. There will be no need to carry keys around the city as you explore it.

This is on the ground level and my space is on the 2nd level. I like to greet people the day they arrive but past that I understand this is your vacation and will not impose past the greet and meet. Still, I love people and am always inviting warm, kind and stimulating conversation should I be around the house and working out in the yard or what have you.
Great neighborhood. It is about a 30 min walk to downtown; 15 min walk to the light rail, and about a 7 minute walk to Lake Washington. We are on the bus route 14 which takes about 15 minutes to get to the downtown core. Very centrally located, with a wonderful restaurants and coffee shops just steps away. Also the unit is just 7 doors away from the Sam Smith Park, which will get you on the bike route to go throughout the city, dog parks; tennis courts, etc. The bus drivers all say this is one of Seattle's best kept secrete, a great neighborhood minutes away from downtown and yet you feel like you are in the country, with views of the city, the Sound, the Lake and Mount Rainier. I love this area.
Bus 14 and 8 connect you to downtown and University of Washington. Hope the bus for a 5 min ride to the light rail and then go to the airport or the UofW; the rail just opened all the way to the Univ. of Washington. If you don't want to bus, the its about a $8.00 uber fare to downtown.
Hose rules huh? Well, I ask that you treat my home like it was your own and this is me hoping you treat you home nice. ;-) I would ask that you keep the volume down after 10pm since this is a neighborhood and I do love my neighbors. Ok, so let me say a bit more. ;-)

I think we all probably hate to fill these out huh? so, I have an out going personality, though as I get older I also appreciate my down time. I'm a father of a beautiful young lady, the son of awesome parents, the partner to a great guy, and loyal, loving friend to many. My given name is Scott but my friends call me Skip. I have lived in Seattle since 2003 and couldn't imagine living any where else. I love this city, the location, the weather, yes, even the weather, ...just everything about this place sings to my spirit. So I am brand new to Airbnb and have heard it takes some time to get established so we shall see. I guess, like the most of you reading this profile, I am a guy who likes to think out side the box, adventurous, did I spell that correctly? ;-) So I have no doubt this will be a work in process but for (URL HIDDEN) least its a start.
