A great New offering that some guests turned me onto! Geo-cacheing!! Seems to be a lot available here on the Island and if you enjoy State Parks, bring your "passport" and get it stamped at the State Park on the Beach! We also have several micro-breweries locally!!

Since it'll just be you or you and another guest, limited access to other parts of the house can be arranged. It is my home, I work from it, so loud partying is discouraged. Let it be your sanctuary as it is mine. There is WiFi, so you can use your computer and cell phone easily. No TV available. Lots of books you are welcome to read. Cards, some board games are available. There are several gyms close by. My home is a non-smoking environment all the time. I am available with prior arrangement for Bodywork or PSYCH-K therapies. I also officiate weddings at many venues Island-wide! I look forward to your visit!

I am well-versed with many of the attractions Galveston Island has to offer, including guided kayak tours, surf instruction, and wedding/event planners, I can officiate. I offer information about where to go for the best, least/most expensive dining, different cuisines. We do have a delivery service available for most restaurants for a minimal charge/tip, they will bring it right to the door on those days you don't want to go out wandering! I have a large comfortable dining room you are welcome to use.
We live in a sub-tropical zone. There are mosquitoes, bring your own spray. It is a beach area, don't forget your sunscreens ( Walgreens/CVS) are right around the corner, as is a hardware store and a Family Dollar for forgotten items. Also, the best donut shop is also right around the corner!
My home is already endowed with pets, so please leave yours at home. No smoking of any kind is permitted. If you have allergies, bring your meds please! This is a place for people to come and getaway from the hustle and bustle and noise, downtown is so close you can let loose there and come back to the quiet! Let me mention now that this is an adult venue, please no children under 13.

I am a friendly people-person. I work as a minister and therapist from my home here in Galveston. I have travelled extensively and was born over-seas (UK). I love to garden, read books and visit my grandchildren. I am new at Airbnb and very excited about sharing my home with visitors. I am a good source of information about where to go and what to do while visiting here. My Life's Motto might be: Imagine...
