Our family’s home is situated in beautiful and historic North River Heights/Crescentwood, one of Winnipeg’s finest neighborhoods. we are looking forward to sharing our lovely home with you and can assure you that we will make a special effort to provide you with the best possible experience during your stay in Winnipeg. You will also find our ideal location near to all major attractions a real plus as well.
Why not live in the most beautiful area of Winnipeg and within easy reach of all major attractions and conveniences.
Our house receives an abundance of sunlight streaming through spacious windows in the living room, dining room, piano / sitting room and kitchen throughout the day, has a large kitchen with eating area that can seat eight, hardwood floors throughout a comfortable living space on the main floor with three bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and laundry room. In addition, the lower-level has a spacious bedroom including two single beds (that can be combined), couch and coffee table, and full bathroom.
The front of the house features an extensive veranda; the sizable deck in the back yard includes barbecue and patio furniture for outdoor dining, and a tall swing which the kids love. My favourite place outside is on our deck surrounded by an ‘urban forest’ with mature trees (five large oaks and three spruce. The backyard is often frequented by birds, rabbits and squirrels (see photos) and the occasional (somewhat perplexed) deer.
There are two graceful elms in the front yard. The backyard is very private as there is no lane (or traffic) behind the house.
We are centrally located within 12 minutes from most of the following amenities:

Although joining Airbnb in March, we have just recently listed our home (May 25) and are eagerly looking forward to welcoming our first guests.
Charlotte (a teacher/retired private school principal) and I (a chartered professional accountant) love to spend time at our cottage on Lake Winnipeg, visit our sons and their families in Japan and in Ottawa and get away during the winter months. While away we want to offer you a wonderful place to stay as you experience our vibrant city.
