My extended 2 month stay at John's Guest Cottage in Fort Lauderdale was a really good experience. Great location, very close to Inter-coastal, restaurants, shopping and beaches. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and very walkable which was great for my dog Stewie. The cottage was fully equipped and very comfortable. The yard and pool are beautiful and exactly as pictured on the airbnb site. I did not have any real contact with the property manager, however, I did have the opportunity to meet the owner, John, who was very pleasant and interested in knowing if I had any suggestions or recommendations to help improve our stay. I would definitely consider staying at John's place again for future stays in Fort Lauderdale.

John is a great host: accommodating, responsive and a joy to deal with. He seems to be quite interested in improving his place. We rented the adorable cottage during January and February of 2017. It was perfect for 2 adults and our 2 Chihuahuas. A good-sized living area, including a table and 4 chairs and lounging space with cable TV, comfortable sofa and chair, a bedroom featuring a queen bed and ample closet, and a kitchen where you can prepare all your meals if you choose. Internet service is quite reliable and fast. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained as is the entire pool area. So close to everything but quiet and private. There are grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. For those who like to walk or bike, the neighborhood is safe with sidewalks and tons to see. Los Olas Boulevard is a pleasant 30-minute walk. Fort Lauderdale's beautiful beaches are a very easy drive, just a few miles. I would not hesitate to return as we had an extremely pleasant experience.

John was not in town but he and his property manager showed good teamwork with accommodating us last minute and compensating us for a botched day due to an incidental plumbing issue one day. Prompt repair.

My Husband and I stayed in this adorable cottage in the back of the main house. It's a backyard oasis you shouldn't miss. If you like palm trees and a nicely kept up pool,this place is for you. Shopping is great in this area,but the house is tucked away far from the bustle. This was my first ABAB experience and I'm very pleased. John was a great communicator and Deborah ,the property manager was very nice and concerned about our needs. I'm already thinking about when I can come back. I enjoyed my time there.....kinda didn't want to leave.

We were greeted by John's property manager Debora as soon as we arrived at the property and she made sure we had everything we needed. The place was very cozy and comfortable. The biggest plus for us was being able to bring our two dogs! Debora even let our dogs have a play date with her dogs while we were away. John came by later in the week and was very nice and helpful. If we ever go back to Fort Lauderdale, we will definitely stay there again.
