Our spacious, comfortable annexe has a double bed and double sofa-bed, sleeping up to four, though most comfortably, two adults. Located on a quiet bridleway in Hilton, this is a perfect retreat or base for exploring the locality or all of Dorset.
Our recently built first floor annexe with its own private access is at some distance from the main house, a newly built eco property. Guests can come and go as they please and feel completely independent from us. We are on hand though should you need us!
We are located up a bridleway where you can easily walk to the famous Bulbarrow Hill. We are on the edge of the village overlooking the fields that lead towards the village of Milton Abbas one way and the village of Hilton and its 15th century All Saints Church the other. This is a lovely quiet spot with the stillness broken at night only by the local owl population.
Accès des voyageurs
Our annexe has a large family room/studio with ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The separate kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a large table and chairs for dining. There is a comfortable sofa, chairs and TV with DVD player as well as high speed broadband.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
The annexe is independent from our house, but we are here to help with local info, pub and restaurant recommendations, or indeed anything else you may need. We usually greet guests with afternoon tea. However we will respect your privacy should you prefer!
All guests receive a welcome pack of basics including milk, bread, tea, coffee and our own free range eggs. All bedding and towels are included in the price.
We operate a no smoking policy though you are welcome to smoke outside the annexe. Well behaved, non-scary pets are allowed! However, we have chickens so if your dog is likely to chase them we would rather you let us know beforehand. If it's for a short stay only we can keep our chicks in their pen.
We have recently moved to Dorset from West Sussex, from an old 18th Century cottage to a brand spanking new Eco house in the glorious North Dorset countryside. I love walking, gardening, cooking, travelling and having friends to stay. I used to run a B and B in Sussex so am looking forward to welcoming guests in our new surroundings.
