Built in early 80s, for its functionality, this apartment is typical to present the ideal of social living, way back in socialist country of Yugoslavia. It is small, but well organized place, all rooms are separated and precisely designed for its purposes. However, the style is rather random, ˝whatever I like style˝.
The living room offers two different set-ups based on whether you prefer to sleep in a single or double bed - the couch turns into comfortable double bed, and single bed easily turns into comfy sofa.
Kitchen is my favorite, bright colors cheers you up in the morning and inspires you to make unrepeatable dishes. Bathroom is priceless for it's large tub, makes you wanna stay forever.
But, what I like most about this apartment is the location. It is actually quiet neighborhood, but in a volatile surrounding. In less than 5 minutes walking there is a promenade at the bank of the river Sava, well known for the boat-restaurants and bars. From there, taxi boat will take you to Ada Ciganlija, biggest Belgrade park, in 10 minutes only.
As of shopping, there is almost everything within 5 to 10 minutes walking: large shopping mall, china town (with china restaurants), open green market, flee market (!).
By tram or bus you will be in a city center in 20 minutes, and cab will cost you about 6 eur. However, during summer months, the most precious I find the cycling path (and I can help you rent a bicycle).
No loud music (or anything loud) at 2 - 5 pm and after midnight. No parties in apartment. Call me if anything goes wrong.

I am a traveler, but I hardly ever stayed in a hotel. I was always staying at other peoples places - friends' places, relatives', friends' of friends,...
And than in return, many were staying at mine. As if natural born Airbnber.
So I like to offer at least what I would appreciate as a guest - no luxury, but cleanness, no city center, but unique hood, no Xbox, no TV, but lot of advises where to go and what to do in Belgrade.
