All my guests who came for one night said they wished they had booked for at least 2 nights as there is so much to see on Gozo, please take note if you decide to come, so you will not be disappointed.

Where possible I like to use locally sourced produce, for freshness and taste. If there is something your really like for breakfast, just say the day before, so I can prepare it for you.
If you prefer a Continental breakfast of ham, cheese, cakes cereals, yogurt, muesli, toast and honey, orange juice, jams etc , that is fine, and if you have any special dietary requests, please let us know before you come to stay.

I can help you with your stay, but if you wish to explore and ' do your own thing' then that is great, the choice is yours.
Lisa's Farmhouse will be your ' home from home' while you enjoy the wonderful island of Gozo.
Not big on house rules, but the kitchen is not for use by guests, however, should you need something, then ask, and just be respectful of other guests.
You are here to enjoy yourself, and that is what we want you to do.
Hello,I am Lisa, a happy go lucky,50 something ( and counting) English lady who has called Gozo 'home', for over 15 years .
Although I am as English as apple crumble and custard ( love custard) I have embraced the Gozitan way of life and the 2 cultures go 'hand in hand', which I adore.
Gozo is the most beautiful, fun , island, and I would love to share my local knowledge with you, if you need it.
If you prefer to 'wing it' and do your own thing, seeing what the day brings, that would be great too.
If you would love to have some more practice in speaking English ,then I would be 'over the moon' to help you.
I can speak some school girl French and can muddle through with other languages, but laughter,a smile and good food is the universal language and so we will get along fine, no worries there.
It is half the fun trying to understand each other ,with hand gestures and smiles.
I want my home to be your home, when you are here and to do the things you enjoy doing.
Good food is very important to me, I love to eat!
Mediterranean food like pasta, fish, salads are wonderful, but I also like to cook an English roast dinner from time to time and of course, our famous 'Full English' breakfast.
Luckily, we can some wonderful sausages here and the local one has to be tried too.
I make a 'mean' baked macaroni, a local dish, one of my favourites.
Baking a carrot cake, or my delicious lemon yoghurt cake( the smell is divine), fills me with happiness and there is always one in the house for you to enjoy.
The freshness of vegetables , coming from a mile down the road, knowing spring is here when the fresh garlic is in the shops, the lampuka fish, a true delight, here for a few weeks in late summer, that is how I like to cook here, using wonderful locally grown produce, bursting with colour and flavour.
My mouth is watering now!
The wine here is also fabulous, and so cheap! Can steer you in the right direction ,should you prefer red or white.
The sea, the sun and the outdoor life are also what I most enjoy ,and I hope we can go on a boat trip, or take a jeep ,pack a picnic and explore the island and show you magical hidden places.
One of my favourite places to go is Xlendi, the prettiest little village, surrounded by magnificent hills. Only 10 minutes away from where I live, I like nothing more than to go down there, eat a plate of pasta in one of the many restaurants or sit on a bench with a delicious ice cream from the lady in the kiosk, and just look at the blue blue sea.
Priceless to me.
So, in a nutshell, if you come and stay with me, you will have a holiday filled with laughter and good times and you will go away wanting to return ,which I hope you will some day.
