À propos de ce logement
Entire 3 storey house, completely reimagined by architect owners into their home. Huge living space & terrace, central but quiet. Just a 3min walk to Kennington tube station. Explore London’s markets, galleries and neighbourhoods by foot or cycle!
The house and street were built in the 1950’s as the Dutch entry for the Festival of Britain, showcasing how Londoners could live in the future. Our neighbourhood now is a great mix of original residents and a newer wave of architects and designers, that treasure the area. We were lucky to find the house and have tried to create a home that is filled with unexpected views and light.
We have opened up and extended the ground floor from kitchen to garden, with wide timber plank floors, marble slabs, mature planting and large glass screens. The whole house is filled with objects and furniture that we have collected from markets in London, Barcelona and on holiday, and is always changing!
Accès des voyageurs
The whole house over three floors is to rent- 110sqm with 15m long ground floor living area and two double beds on the upper floors with lots of storage. The top floor room is accessed through a concealed door in a bookcase wall. The bathroom has a large shower and freestanding bathtub. The living room and garden are south-facing, where we have created a green oasis as antidote to the city.

We are architects, English and Spanish, living between London, Barcelona and Sydney, enjoying the best of all these cities.
We love the Airbnb concept, and have been hosting our Barcelona home for a couple of years (check out Architect's Raval Apartment BCN) and are now opening up our London home.
While we love Barcelona and Sydney, we keep returning to London for the unique mix-up of cultures and history, which never ceases to excite and inspire us.
