The flat is very central to Penzance, easy access to dining out, just steps away from the sea front and a great base if you want to venture further afield to explore the surrounding area and see everything that this part of Cornwall has to offer.
Jubilee Flat is right behind the iconic Jubilee Pool, which was built in the 1930's and has recently been beautifully restored.
The flat has it's own private entrance, at the top of a flight of stairs. There is a well equipped kitchen, an adjoining lounge, a spacious bathroom, a cosy bedroom and a small balcony.
Accès des voyageurs
The flat is in a quiet side lane. There is free parking on the street nearby but if this is not available, there is a pay and display car-park just 3 minutes away
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I live about 15 minutes from the flat but will be contactable by phone or by email. I will be very happy to recommend where to eat, places to visit and sights to see
There is a leaflet in the flat with information of "Things to do", Places to eat" and "Places to visit"
Please have fun and enjoy your stay!
My parents were Danish, I was brought up in Kenya, I lived a few years in Denmark, a short while in Germany and then moved to England to fly as an air hostess, which was great fun! I have three wonderful children who are now independent.
Cornwall reminds me in many ways of my life in Kenya, mostly all of the outdoors that it offers, especially the walking. It is rough and rugged, a lot colder and wetter of course but that has a certain attraction too! The spring and summer certainly make up for the harsher months.
I love all the inspiration there is for the arts and crafts, all the friendly cafes and pubs with fabulous food
There is always something happening, especially to celebrate old traditions and myths.
Even though I haven't been here as long as many, I feel comfortable and welcome
