Description
Description

Welcome to our five-acre coffee and macadamia nut farm in the jungle-town of Captain Cook! Located mauka (uphill) of Mamalahoa Hwy, the space available is a twelve-sided cedar round house with a luxurious master bedroom and space for family.

My name is Kayla Strom and my partner Cameron and I manage and live on a five acre coffee and macadamia nut farm.

The round house is a twelve-sided cedar round house with two octagon hales and three full bathrooms.

We live in our coffee house on the other side of the farm. You cannot see our house from the round house but we are only a moment away if you have any questions! We have 3 outdoor cats and 20 free range chickens, including a couple roosters.

The round house has three bedrooms, with four beds and three full bathrooms. There is a full kitchen with everything you will need to cook away from home. (Groceries not included).

There is Internet, a desktop computer, and a printer. Guests are welcome to use these devices with care.

Guests are also welcome to explore the farm and pick modestly from our five dozen fruit trees when ripe!

If we are home when you visit, we will gladly give a tour of our farm to anyone interested. Our doors are always open; we would love to share our home with you and even a meal or two if interested.

When we are not home, we are available by phone or email if you have any questions about the property or need directions to or from anywhere.

Our farm is tucked up the volcano one mile from Highway 11 in the center of Captain Cook. At an elevation 2,200 ft. the evenings are cool for sleeping and the view of the ocean is beautifully seen from the front porch.

Our neighborhood is far enough away from town to feel like your in the country side but close enough to all your modern conveniences. The post office, a grocery store, restaurants, and a few other shops are right at the bottom of the hill and the drive to downtown Kona is only 20 minutes.

We are three miles from Kealakekua Bay, where dolphins and whales are often at play. Multiple beaches rest in the bay. The Kona coast is filled with other beautiful sandy beaches. We love to give recommendations so if you are interested, just ask!

No public transportation unfortunately. We are on a steep single lane road that is suitable for all cars however! Cars are easily rented in Kona.

Our farm is an authentic Hawaiian living space. As such, we imbue our property and guests with the aloha spirit, which means, in short, sharing what we have and appreciating the beautiful island that surrounds us. Ask us anything, share a meal, take a tour, relax, and experience our farm and the island in whatever way you choose. Many mahalos for visiting.
